Chapter 1

Chapter I

My story begins in the 42nd district of Malétia; my hometown. I thought that I was born and raised there (I had never really seen outside of that town now that I think about it).

I spent my days doing more or less the same things: Taking care of my mom, going to school/classes, hanging out with my best friend Eddie or my girlfriend Tiff.

Oh, if you are wondering my name is Aiza Cardona.

So my day begins with me being woken up by the screaming of a lady outside my house. As this has not been the first time (or second for that matter) it has happened, I knew exactly what to do.

I glanced over at the clock. 6:42 it said.

I threw on a thin sweater, a pair of shorts and my shoes and ran outside. I checked around the outside of the house when I found the source of the screaming.

I absentmindedly said, "It's okay mom you can come back inside now. It's gonna be al-"

"Do I look like your mother boy?!" the woman yelled.

Closer observation revealed that she was in fact not my mother. "Who are you then?" I asked.

"I am-- wait, I know who you are! You're the leader of the Re--" she looked around maniacally and yelled, "No, no, no, not again run boy! They're coming back leave while you can! They will-"

At that moment something unbelievable happened. The wind and sounds of the early morning halted.

The lady became surrounded by binaries ( "I"s and "0"s) and was frozen in time, and from what seemed to be nowhere, a man about 6' 7" appeared.

He was wearing a white lab coat and a white mask with two slits revealing glowing blue eyes.

The man took the lady in his arm and said, "Wake up Aiza."

With that my head exploded into extreme pain and I fell to the ground.
