Look, I didn't want to be a half-blood.

If you're reading this because you think you might be one, my advice is: close this book right now. Believe whatever lie your mom or dad told you about your birth, and try to lead a normal life.

Being a half-blood is dangerous. It's scary. Most of the time, it gets you killed in painful, nasty ways. If you're a normal kid, reading this because you think it's fiction, great. Read on. I envy you for being able to believe that none of this ever happened. But if you recognize yourself in these pages – if you feel something stirring inside – stop reading immediately. You might be one of us. And once you know that, it's only a matter of time before they sense it too, and they'll come for you.

Don't say I didn't warn you. - Percy Jackson

Their names were Cora Jackson and Pia Dare. And this is the journal of perspective and the records of the Olympian Library.

Pia sighed. She was in her least favorite subject, math. Usually, she daydreamed, maybe about a calm spot in the woods, or by a waterfall. She couldn't wait until the break when she could settle down on the bench with a book. Maybe she would travel to Neverland! Her teacher's snappy voice shook her from her calm "Pia, can you answer question number two?" Pia thought about it but, proving that she was like her father (Who she never knew), she couldn't answer. "Um, 15?" Pia guessed. The teacher looked at her and sighed, no later the bell would ring. "Thank you, Ma'am." "Your welcome." The teacher looked partly at her and walked briskly off. She walked into Latin and saw a substitute. "Great." Pia thought. Then the teacher wrote her name on the board. "Ms. Dodds." Pia sat down and tried to pay attention. 'Mrs. Dodds' stood up and spoke, with a voice even more snappy and gravely than her math teacher's voice. "Is Pia here today in the class?" And all the students pointed to Pia sitting in the back of the classroom, Pia reluctantly raised a hand.

"Will, Miss Pia, come with me please?" "Yes ma'am." And Pia lumbered off after the sub into another room. "You are quite like your father, Miss Jackson." Miss Dodds said. "Maybe as stubborn too."

Cora woke up to yet another goddy day. She was in the Poseidon cabin this time, and once again was the only person there. Besides Percy, Poseidon had no other children. Well, at least children that came to CHB, or were distantly related. She had been to Olympus at least once a year, one for recognition for quests and another to see her Dad and Mom, Percy and Annabeth, (who had become gods) and to visit her grandparents, Poseidon and Athena in secret.

Somehow, in this goddy frenzy, Zeus's power had gotten mixed into this, and she had his powers also. This made her the most powerful demigod in history. Cora often thought about if she was a goddess or not. Technically, she was 1 and ¼ human, and 1 and ¼ godlike... so, ½ blood again. Cora was still learning never to try and find out who you were related to on your godly side. Things just got too complicated.

"What are you talking about? My name is Pia Josie Dare." Pia said, confused. "You'll see, you know, dear." Miss Dodds croaked back to her. Strange, she thought. Everyone seemed to be interrupting her thoughts recently, as the principal came into the room and saw Pia alone with the teacher who was quickly sent back to class with the message, 'there will be a sub' while the principal and Miss Dodds had a 'talk'. Finally, it was after school, and Pia's best friend, Rose approached her. "Let me guess." She said. " You're going to go swimming." Pia looked at Rose with a look that meant- "Why wouldn't I be'', giggled and continued walking. When she got to the pool Rose stayed outside as Pia dove in gracefully and swam some laps. "You know," Rose said. "If I didn't have crutches, I would swim with you." "I know it wasn't your choice," answered Pia, energetic and happy as always. Rose looked over and mumbled, "It was technically my choice." "What was that?" Pia questioned. "Nothing," Rose responded, and that was the end of that conversation. After a while

Pia got out, dried off, and went on her way. Going down the hall, she heard a shout calling her name, it was a voice she knew well, her mom. Stopping the conversation, Pia quickly told Rose goodbye and sped off to her car. "How was your day?" She asked. "Well a teacher that was subbing for Miss Devenport was really weird, talking about dad being stubborn and things like that" Pia addressed, innocently. "What was her name?" She said in a panicked tone. "Why does it matter?" Pia questioned. "It just does." She said more angered, yet quieter and more worried. Pia hated seeing her mom like this, and quite honestly, hadn't before. "Mom, you know if you tell me, then we can work together on it!" Pia spoke optimistically. "It's nothing," she said, trying to encore the topic. "But what do you think about summer camp?
