The four sat around a small fire in a small cave. Ray and Emma sat next to each other across from Y/n and the man.

It was silent until Y/n spoke up "Stank ass do you remember the incident?"

"Well yeah, you tried to kill me." He responded with a blank face.

Rays eyes widened "You what?" He looked at the girl with a shocked expression.

She rolled her eyes "This asshole is afraid of a little girl!" She patted *****'s back "So basically he locked me out of the bunker for a week or a little longer. So I found a way to break in and almost killed him! I put a gun in his mouth! I made him cry!" She laughed at the mans angered expression "Hey don't be mad Stank Ass at least you know not to mess with me!"

Emmas' eyes were wide with admiration "Oh my God really! That's so cool! What else have you done?"

"Oh uh, I've done a lot since my escape," Y/ns cheeks turned a bit red at Emma's sudden excitement "B-but enough about me! How was Gracefield after I left?"

Emma clapped her hands softly "I'll tell you all about it!"

The two girls laughed, the fire danced on their faces making their eyes sparkle.

***** was close to falling asleep but didn't want to sleep until he knew Y/n was as well.

Ray. Ray was watching the girls talk. Well more like watching Y/n as the girls talked. He watched how her eye brows raised when she got more interested, how her eyes widened at small details Emma added in, the way her lips curled upwards when Emma mentioned how much they had missed her, how her lips formed a small frown when Emma would talk about Mom. He watched how the fire twirled in the girls e/c eyes. How it make her fave stand out. How messy her h/c was. He adored this sight of her. He adored her laugh, her smile, her voice. Everything.

The girls say in a comfortable silence before Y/n spoke up "Okay I think I know the answer to this question but I think I should ask..."

Emma looked at Y/n "Ask away!"

"Where's Norman?"

Emmas face dropped as soon as she heard the question, Ray looked upset.

The two didn't answer, instead they looked at the fire.

"So I'm guessing that means I'm right..." Her voice shook "I'm so sorry. I know how close you were and you must have gotten even closer over the years." She looked down "I'm sorry for bringing it up."

***** looked at the girl.

"I think I'm going to get some sleep. You two should too we'll be on the move soon after we wake up." Her voice was quiet. She got up and slowly made her way to *****.

"Goodnight Old Man."

"Goodnight Y/n."
