When I got the call about Glee, I was ecstatic. I remember sitting in my room, hearing my phone ring, answering the call from the LA area code, and hearing "Congratulations Miss Colins, you got the job". I was working on editing another one of my vlogs, that I knew wasn't going to do well. When I screamed and fell out of my chair in excitement, my roommate(and boyfriend) Josh ran into my room,
"Sage! Are you okay?! Did your laptop crash again?!" I shook my head and showed Josh the call,
"I GOT GLEE!" Josh picked me up off the floor, and spun me around,
"Good job! I knew you were going to get it!" I smiled and kissed Josh, who wrapped his arms around me, "I'm so proud of you."
I had been different all of my life, and booking a real TV show was my way of telling everyone who bullied me that their words only made me stronger.
Before we get any further, hi, my name is Sage Collins and I'm probably one of the most famous Glee extras/background dancers. I was just shy of my 18th birthday when I got the call, and I was going to give up on my dream of being a dancer. Now back to the story,
I showed up to the soundstage that Glee was being filmed on a week and a half later and thought I was prepared for the craziness that was going to be my life but I would have never been prepared for that day.
