I heard loud fighting and a few hard hits before she came back dragging Kankuro behind her. "Found him!" She smiled holding him up by the back of his shirt.

I covered my mouth to keep from spitting out my drink. The child reached out happily wanting to be picked up by him, he clearly wanted nothing to do with it.

I could see fire coming off of Temari who was ready to beat him up again if he didn't change his attitude.

"Here," I handed him the child as he scowled not wanting to grab him from me. The kid's arms wrapped around his neck giving him no choice but to take him.

"You aren't acting like yourself, Kankuro." Temari crossed her arms furrowing her brows as she tried to figure out what was going on.

He held the child with a hateful look on his face, it became clear he didn't like children, not one bit.

"We need to talk." His voice was cold as he handed the now crying child to Shikamaru.

He grabbed my arm and pulled me out of the kitchen and into a random room. "Your little charade needs to come to an end. This isn't us, I don't love you, you don't love me, and that kid clearly isn't mine. I'm ready to go home!" He snapped.

He was right, we needed to go home. This was some false world created by someone as some sick joke. There was no way we would ever get along nor would we have a kid like this.

"Your right, we have to get home." I decided to be serious, the rest of the mission I would just have to take it seriously.

I walked out of the room and grabbed the child before going back to Kibas house without another word.

He was home with Akamaru, they sat happily joking around with each other until I came home, he greeted me asking if I wanted to go do something to which I declined claiming I wasn't feeling well. He understood and let me go to my room, the dog stayed behind to play with Akamaru.

I placed the child back in the crib before looking around the room hoping there would be a hint telling me how to get out. It was to no avail.

I gripped the sides of my head trying to find a way to escape, I wanted to leave immediately.

Pacing the room, I thought as hard as I could. Kankuro came in about half an hour later, "Any ideas?" He questioned hoping I had figured it out already. I shook my head sadly, this was a nightmare, It had to be some delusional person's way of messing with us.

We wanted out.

The streets weren't as busy as before, but there were still a lot of people.

Ino walked toward me waving her hand over her head while the other gripped another person. "It's been a while!" She smiled bringing me in for a hug which I returned awkwardly. She glared at Kankuro coldly for some reason.

"I was actually just coming to see you, we need someone to watch inojin while we have a date night..." She scratched the back of her neck hopefully.

"I'm sorry, but im sure Shikamaru and Temari would be more than willing." I gave her a wide smile before glancing at the unfamiliar man beside her, he was extremely pale with black hair, I had never seen him in the leaf village before.

"Thank you! We really need a day to ourselves." She winked up at the man beside her before they started walking past us toward Temari and Shikamaru's home.

"When I find out who is behind this im gonna kill em'," he groaned continuing to walk wherever we were going.

"Do you even know where we are going?" I questioned catching up to him. He didn't respond which I took as a no.

We walked and walked until I was nearly starving, "let's stop for some food. Even if this place isn't real im hungry." He pointed at my favorite barbecue place from when I was a kid so of course, I was more than happy to go there.

We sat at our table while we waited for our orders to be taken but they never were, instead, they brought us some delicious-looking meat, Choji waved over signaling it was from him. I smiled back with a small wave to say thank you.

"So do you not remember anything before you passed out?" He questioned grilling his meat. I thought about it for a second before responding, "no, not a thing..." I propped my head on my hand in annoyance.

"You know, you look really bad bald." I stayed with a sigh earning a smirk, "so you're saying I look good normally then?" I rolled my eyes at his stupidity.

"No, you just look worse than usual, but your usual is still pretty bad." I grilled my own meat waiting for his response.

"I could say the same for you," he took a few bites of his meal, "I don't see why they made us married in this reality." He scoffed as he continued to eat.

"Probably as some kind of psycho nightmare." He shrugged his shoulders taking a sip of his drink. "You know, you could be pretty if you were it such a bi-" I crushed his toes under the table to shut him up.

"See what I mean?" He scoffed pointing at me. "You would be popular with the ladies if you didn't dress like a baby doll." I shot back gesturing towards his ugly clothing.

"I do not dress like a baby doll," he argued. If looks could kill I would be one very dead person.

"I don't know, you dress like a baby, you carry dolls, and you're as picky as a toddler." I shot back knowing I was picking a string.

"Fine, throw your sad insults at me, I hope it helps your sad little ego." He got up from the table and left.
