[5] Playing in the Castle

I keep growing, I now look 10 years old, but I don't mind. Miku and the other dragon warriors though are worried that I'm growing too fast, but I just tell them it's normal for me. I'm currently running through the castle trying to find a good place to hide.

~Flashback~

I'm just sitting in my room, starring at the rain that falls outside my window, when there's a sudden knock at my door. I turn towards the noise and see Shu-Ten standing in my doorway. I smile at him, "Hello, Shu-Ten." I greet, before tilting my head to the side when I feel the presence of the White dragon.

"Hmm? Gu-En? Why are you hiding?" I ask and Gu-En in turn tenses before coming out from his hiding spot scratching the back of his head sheepishly. "I forgot that you can sense the dragon warriors' presence." Gu-En says before grinning down at me. "We came to come get you out of your room." Shu-Ten tells me as he rests his spear on his shoulder.

I sigh and fall back onto my bed with my arms out and stare up at the sealing. "But there's nothing to do, and it's all stormy outside." I tell them honestly. "Hmm?" I hear Shu-Ten hum, and then Gu-En begin to speak. "That is true... Then, why don't we play a game?"

At that I perk up and sit up staring at them to see Shu-Ten starring at Gu-En and then back at me smirking. "Yeah. That sounds like a good idea. But what game?" Shu-Ten asks curiously with his hand on his chin, before perking up with in idea. "Oh, I know. How about you hide, and we'll come find you and then try to catch you." Shu-Ten say's while smirking down at me "What do you say, we'll even give you a minute head start." Gu-En asks. I grin up at them and stand up, "Ok!" I say cheerfully before walking up to them. "Alright. We'll wait here and after a minute we'll come find you." Gu-En tells me before Shu-Ten speaks up. "And remember. You can hide anywhere in the castle except for the bedrooms." I beam up at him, "Got it" I tell them before they step sideways so I can go out the door, I smile up at them and run out the door down the halls to find a hiding spot.

~Flashback End~

I round corners, stopping at the dining hall before continuing to run in the direction of the thrown room. That's it! The thrown room! I can hide there. I run through the halls and enter the thrown room, closing the room doors before turning back and leaning on the doors, closing my eyes to catch my breath. I open them to see Hiryuu staring at me with bug eyes. I smile up at him before running over to him, "Hello Hiryuu" I greet as I smile up at him and he looks down at me and pats my head. I close my eyes, enjoying the affection. He removes his hand and looks down at me, "What are you up to. You look like your running from some one." He asks me and I beam up at him. "That's because I am." I say with a close eyed smile. "Hmm. And who is it that your running from." He askes me and I open my eyes to see him looking down at me with a curious look. "Oh I'm hiding from Gu-En and Shu-Ten, Were playing a game and they have to find and catch me." I tell him with a smile until I feel the presents of Shu-Ten coming towards us. "Oh no. Shu-Ten's coming! I have to hide." I say as I look around and run to the thrown and crouch down behind it. I peek over to Hiryuu and smile up at him, "I was never here" I tell him before hiding behind it Missing the smile and shake of his head, the doors to the thrown room open and in come's Shu-Ten.

I put my back to the thrown and look around trying to find an escape route so I don't get caught. I notice a door in the corner that I can escape through if I'm sneaky enough. I peek from behind my hiding spot to see Shu-Ten talking with Hiryuu, so I slowly back up towards the door, as I get halfway to the door however, I feel a presence so I look behind me and gasp, ducking under the white scaly hand and barely escaping. I make a run for the doors to the thrown room but stop when a spear comes down blocking the way, I back up towards the wall and look at where the other door is to see Gu-En smirking down at me, blocking that way. I look towards the main doors to see Shu-Ten blocking that way too. Cornered they smirk down at me, "No where to run." Shu-Ten tells me thinking he's won. I smirk at them and crouch slightly, "Are you sure?" I ask and they look at me confused but I don't give them time to ask and I jump over Shu-Ten and land at the doors he was blocking my way to. I turn around at their shocked looks and stick my tong out at them before sprinting out the door's and rounding the corner. I jump up to a nearby window and hide within the cloth on the side of it. I hear two pears of footsteps sprinting in the way I was going, as there footsteps fade away I smile in victory and jump down from the window seal, going back into the thrown room giggling.

"That was easy." I say looking up at Hiryuu who is smiling down at me, "When did you learn that trick?" Hiryuu asks me. I look up in thought with my finger on my chin, "Hmm. I believe it was when me and Zeno were playing around a couple days ago, when I accidently jumped too high." I say before looking at him with a close eyed smile, remembering when I activated the ability.

~Flashback~

Me and Zeno were running around playing in the forest when I jumped over and branch on the ground but ended up jumping too high, surprised I Squeak and try to go back down to the ground to land only to see Zeno looking up at me. "Zeno!" I yell out to him and he opens his arms out to catch me I land in his arms but I end up taking both me and Zeno down to the ground, I start laughing like an idiot and Zeno joins in. After I've calmed down I jump up off the ground and Beam up at him with my arms up, "Did you see that! I activated another Dragon ability!" I yell excitedly and he throws his arms up in the air with me cheering "Yeah!" he yells out. I giggle and turn back towards the castle, "Race you to the castle!" I yell as I run away. "Hey, You got a head start!" I hear Zeno say, but I just smile back at him and continue to run while laughing.

~Flashback End~

As I remember that day, I don't notice the two incoming dragons coming back towards the thrown room until I feel an arm rap around my midsection and pick me up. I squeak in surprise and look down at the arm that has me only to see a scaly white arm and hand, I look up with surprise still on my face and see a smirking Gu-En looking back down at me, "Caught and found." He declares proudly. "Aww, man!" I puff my cheeks out with a pink tint on them and look to the side, "Darn it... I let my guard down..." I grumbled out before seeing a head of green in the corner of my eye and look at Shu-Ten who's also smirking in victory. "I wasn't expecting you to pull that little stunt on us." Shu-Ten says proudly, "But nice try though." He tells me.

"Yeah. When exactly did you find out that trick?" Gu-En asks me curiously. "A couple days ago." I tell him as I look over at Hiryuu to see him smiling at us, so I smile back and put my fist in the air, hitting Gu-En in the process. "I'll do better next time! Let's try another round!" I say with a giant smile on my face before looking up and grimacing, "Sorry Gu-En. My bad..." I say as I lower my fist back down to me. "Damn Hisui. You got a strong hit." He tells me as he holds his nose with his normal hand, "At least it's not bleeding." I say as I look down with the tips of my pointer fingers touching, only to hear laughing on my right. I look to my right to see Shu-Ten laughing at Gu-En's face. "It may not be bleeding but it'll definitely bruised" He says after he catches his breath. I look back up at Gu-En to see him messing with it and under his fingers a bruise definitely forming. I grimace and tap his arm so he can put me down.

He put's me down and I turn to him, "Can you crouch down Gu-En, so I can fix it?" I ask him and he looks down at me with an eyebrow raised, "Come on, It wont hurt, I promise." I tell him with a soft smile. He crouches down to my height, still questioning me. I move his hand away from his nose and put my hands over it as a soft yellow glow comes from them. Gu-En's eyes slightly widen before I removed my hands and the glow disappears. I grab his cheeks and smile at him, "There as good as new!" I declare with a close eyed smile, before removing my hands and taking a step back so he can stand back up.

He stands up and messes with his nose surprised before looking back down at me, "Thanks Hisui." Gu-En tells me and I smile up at him guiltily, "It's the least I can do. After all, I was the one who hurt you." I say with my hands behind me back looking down and to the side. I feel a hand on my head and look up at Gu-En to see him smiling down at me, I smile back and turn to Shu-Ten who's looking at me with his mouth slightly open and his eyes wide. "Well... That just happened." He says when he snaps back into reality. and looks down at me then back at Gu-En then back at me with a toothy grin, "Well! How about round two?" He declares and I beam up at him "Yes!" I say as I run out the room to find a new Hiding spot with a giant smile on my face.

This time. They wont catch me.
