4- nightmare - johnny marr

a/n: thank you alanwildersnose for requesting a johnny one shot!

kasey ran down the dark alley in fear. she felt him watching her every move. turning her head she caught a glimpse of the tall dark figure. she ran away in panic and hit a dead end. ducking behind. a trashcan she felt him grow closer and closer,

'splash' 'splash' splash'

his dark heavy boots collided with the wet pavement creating a strange splashing sound with every step he took.

she felt him hovering above her now. suddenly she felt a hand grab her shoulder and she gasped loudly

kasey quickly shot up in her bed, waking up her boyfriend johnny. she hugged her knees and tears threatened to pour from her eyes. only about a second later a large tear rolled down her cheek and she began quietly sobbing.

johnny sat up as well and rubbed his eyes "bay-baby is everything okay?" he said concerned. kasey shook her head and wept quietly. "was it the dream again?" he cooed. placing a hand on her back and tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. kasey nodded and hiccuped. she shivered "i-it was so much worse this time johnny. i'm scared. why do i keep getting these dreams. he almost got me this time. please don't let him take me johnny. please." she said through her tears

johnny's heart shattered seeing her like this. she had this recurring nightmare about a tall man chasing her almost every night and she had never done this before. johnny wrapped his arm around her and cradled her head close to his chest. "its going to be okay kasey. he isn't real he can't hurt you. not with me." he said softly stroking her hair. he placed a soft kiss to her forehead and played with her hair. "thank you s-so much...." she said shakily. "i love you johnny."

johnny blushed "i love you too. i would never let anyone hurt you. you mean to much to me i hate seeing you in pain like this..." "i-i'm going to be okay." she sniffled and nuzzled her head into his chest.

he smiled and gave her one last kiss on the head. "goodnight my darling. i love you." he whispered "goodnight johnny i love you too." she yawned in response. stirring for a little bit until she finally fell asleep. johnny stayed up making sure she was asleep before he was. just in case she needed anything.
