Flower Crown

   Makoto Naegi had liked Kyoko Kirigiri for 4 years now. They were childhood best friends and Makoto started to develop feelings. He had never been in a relationship before and had no idea what to do, so he would usually sit there and daydream about her being his girlfriend instead of actually asking her to be with him.

       FLASHBACK
    
     Makoto was playing on the playground at his daycare. He noticed one kid, Kyoko Kirigiri, sitting by herself on a bench. He noticed she was looking quite sad so an idea struck him to make her a flower crown and ask to be friends. He worked very hard on the crown and made it look as pretty as his young craftsmanship could. He then walked up to her without a care in the world, not knowing what kind of friendship this would start.

        "Do you want to be friends? I made this flower crown for you!" Makoto said to the lavender haired girl.

         "It's so pretty!" Kyoko responded.

   And they've been friends ever since.

        Then the idea struck Makoto. He was going to make a flower crown, just like he had all those years ago.

       Makoto worked super hard on the crown. It had to be perfect after all. He made sure to include Kyoko's favorite flowers. Once it was finished he made sure to have it somewhere safe so that it would be in pristine condition. It was time.

     After school, Makoto saw Kyoko sat in her usual spot under the cherry blossom tree. She usually waits there for him so they can walk home together. Makoto ran up to her.

     "Kyoko.....I have something to give you." Makoto said, reaching into his bag.

    "I do too." Said Kyoko, reaching into hers.

      Makoto could not have predicted what happened next. They both pulled out flower crowns and saw the amazement on each other's faces.

      "Kyoko Kirigiri....I am in love with you. So I made you this flower crown, like I did all that time ago." Makoto said, wincing and hoping for the best.

     "Makoto.....I was gonna do the same thing!" Kyoko responded.

     They quickly hugged each other. Makoto was so happy Kyoko felt the same way! They fitted the crowns on each other's heads. Kyoko then looked at him and

                        She kissed him.
