Adrien walked down the streets, hands in his hoodie pocket. Rain poured down from the dark gloomy clouds. The 16 year old boy stopped walking when he seen a familiar building, Dupain-Cheng bakery. Instead of the happy customers lining up inside to order, the closed sign was shown on the door and all the lights were off. The building was dark and gloomy, no lights were on inside the building. He looked back down at the ground and sighed, everything has been different without the happy, clumsy girl everyone knew, Marinette Dupain-Cheng.

Right when Adrien was about to walk away someone stopped him. He quickly turned around and was met with a pair of gloomy dark eyes. Sabine Dupain-Cheng. Her eyes were red and puffy, dark rings under them. "Adrien, hey." She said, with a low soft, voice. "Hey." He said back, his voice cracked when he spoke.

"I wanted to thank you," she paused. "Thank me for what?" He questioned Marinettes mother. "For being there for my daughter when she needed you the most." She sadly smiled. "But I was never there for her when I really should have been." He sighed. "But you were, Adrien. She really loved you, she always spoke about you." She chuckled. "I know you miss her, I do to." She grabbed the blonde models hand and places something in it. "She left this for you." She spoke softly before turning away and walking back inside the bakery.

Adrien stared down at the paper in his hands, he slowly opened the letter, his hands kept shaking. He was nervous at what the letter would say,

Dear Adrien,

You are a really good friend to me, I really don't want to go but I have no choice. Please don't cry, please don't blame yourself, because I know you do. If your reading this it means I'm no longer here, Just remember...

Stay peachy.
