Chapter 51 - Meet

Dk's POV

I woke up with Jessica's shouts... Aish I fell as sleep in my chair the whole night?! damn my Body aches

‘ Dk, You don't have a room for nothing, Why did you sleep there? ’ Jessica asked
‘ I didn't even realize, Maybe because of the pills ’ I said and she sighed

‘ Oh btw, Remember Mr. Tobi? ’ jessica asked
‘ yeah, Sana's uncle ’ I said

‘ He recommended you to a businesswomen for partnership in a newly built incorporation ’ Jessica said

‘ Alright, Let them in I'll just arrange myself ’ I said and get in the room

I take a quick shower and go out... I'm so hungry damn...

I already get out while Doing my tie and what surprise me is my friends are here... All of them. Even Mina

‘ Good Morning Ms. Morgan, I'm your new secretary, Mr. Tobi recommended you to them ’ A woman said and walk towards me... and about to touch me when Mina cough

I slap the girl's hand away and look at her blankly
‘ You're fired ’ I said and sit on the sofa facing all of them

‘ B-but I was just trying to help you on your tie ’ The girl said and stand beside me
‘ I'm not informed that secretaries are now minding to fixed her boss's neck tie ’ I said and look at her

‘ leave ’ I said and she did... I look at them and look down... I feel ashamed

‘ Chin up ’ Mina said... I miss her angelic voice

She hold my chin and smile as she arrange my tie... ‘ better ’ She said and get back to her seat... I saw dahyun refraining herself to laugh... Do I look like an idiot right now who got mesmerized by the Beauty of my Ex? Oh damn. that hurts

Jessica came in with folders
‘ You fired a secretary again... Don't you know how hard it is to find one? ’ Jessica said and handed the folders to each one of us

‘ You can find one ’ I said and open the folder

‘ So, Goodmorning everyone, Sorry for making you wait... It's just I overslept ’ I said and smile a bit

‘ What do you want to eat? ’ Jessica asked
‘ I don't have time to eat jessica I still have meeting after this maybe after meeting ’ I said and pay attention to the proposal

Jeongyeon's POV

I can't believe this we hust meet after how many years then we'll immediately proceed to work? No hugs? No I miss you? Geez

Jihyo gave another Folder to Jessica which jessica gave to dk
‘ Where's Somi? did she ate already? ’ Dk asked while looking at the papers
‘ Yeah, we ate breakfast together ’ Jessica said while dk just Hummed

‘ Why didn't you attend our weddings ’ I asked looking at her... she look at me then look down to the paper again
‘ I did ’ She said as she looks at her watch and put down the papers then stand up

‘ it's just something came up ’ She said and
she get a piece of chocolate and eat it before taking some medicine then sit down again

‘ Is it more important than us? ’ Tzuyu asked
‘ guys ’ Nayeon reprimanded

‘ Yeah. I'm sorry ’ Dk said and get a pen
‘ I'll sign these papers... there ’ She said and give the papers to jessica

‘ I hate you ’ Tzuyu said and look at her directly
‘ Feel free... I deserves it ’ Dk said and force a smile

‘ It's fine Sana... All done ’ Dk said and stand up

‘ what did you do these past years ’ Dahyun asked like a curious kid

‘ I'll go to conference now... Jessica Tell Somi eat lunch with me ’ Dk said

Dk sighed and face us
‘ C'mon dk, Don't turn us down ’ Dahyun said and stand up

‘ Alright, Jessica reserve to a- ’ Dk was cut off by Mina again
‘ Let's just eat at the Mansion, If that's alright ’ Mina said while dk look at her and turn her back

‘ Okay ’ Dk said and leave while somi entered

Third Person's POV

Dk left leaving her friends behind
‘ Excuse her rudeness, Maybe she fell asleep without eating again... ’ Somi said and smile

‘ She's just like that but she misses all of you ’ Jessica said and go to Dk's table
‘ Watch ’ Jessica said and push something on Dk's table

A monitor shown a lot with a lot of pictures and some videos from our weddings even birthdays
‘ How did she get this? ’ Jeongyeon asked

‘ she attended the wedding, But something came up... about the birthday pictures remember Somi is in your Group chat so yeah Somi forward it to dk ’ Jessica said laugh a bit

The door opened revealing Dk
‘ Explain ’ Dk said
‘  I accidentally push something on your desk and I don't know how to make it back to it's original place ’ Jessica reasoned out while somi laugh

‘ Explain, why is the conference empty ’ Dk said

‘ Oh right, I forgot to tell you I already end the meeting ’ Somi said and giggle

‘ Silly, The meeting starts at 8 am and it's already 9 ’ Somi said

‘ Then Why didn't you wake me! ’ Dk half shouts
‘ Hey hey calm down, Don't be so worked up by just one meeting, we both know I can't wake you if you take a sleeping pill ’ Somi said

‘ Right, Sorry ’ Dk said and smile a bit
‘ What time is my next meeting? ’ Dk asked

‘ 2 PM ’ jessica said
‘ Eh? I didn't attend any meetings for 2 days why is my schedule like that? ’ Dk asked

‘ Dk, Mr. Bambam got mad asking why did you turn down his proposal ’ Mr. Shun said

Mr. shun nod and face us with a shock face

‘ Alright I'm leaving now Dk, I'll just give you an update ’ Mr. Shun said and leave
