Taehyung resignedly walks towards the fancy bedroom he was before because he had no choice for that matter. Albeit lightheaded, confused, and hurt, he dragged his feet and tried to clear his mind in every stride. He's enraged, upset, bewildered, terrified, livid, and every negative emotion he could think of. Can't do anything, he harshly wipes his tears from his eyes until it leaves small scratches and bruises and continued walking instead. He tried not to think of the revelations anymore, and he willed himself that this is just a long-ass horrible prank and he'll wake up soon.
Think. Think. Think. The only way to escape is the elevator. He noticed that he needs a keycard(?) to get the damn elevator working. He has to devise a plan first. He turns around when he stepped inside his room and his eyes immediately turned into slits when he remembered that someone is accompanying him.
"You sold me," Taehyung stated, his voice full of hurt from the betrayal.
"Sorry, tiger, but I realized that you are much safer here. Your father only wants what's best for you." Hyungsik said apologetically.
"You don't get to decide what's good for me. You lied to us, to me!" Taehyung scowled, pointing a finger to himself. "I can't believe you, hyung!" He growled, exasperated.
"I just want you to be in safe hands, Taehyung-ah," Hyungsik said patiently as if trying to calm a kid in a tantrum. Taehyung scoffs.
"Is all of you've said before a lie too?"
"No. My feelings for you are real--" Hyungsik counters. Taehyung sneers, it isn't what he is asking but he held himself. "--and Master Yashimoto did coerce my father but later on, we realized that he just wants you safe and sound. I, uh, we—"
"You tricked my hyungs just to get me. You deceived me." Taehyung whispered; he cannot hide his pained expression. "I can't believe you did this to me of all people." He flopped dejectedly on the bed, burying his face on his palms.
"I'm sorry, tiger. This is what's best for you." Hyungsik said, taking a step forward but stopping himself from completely reaching out to the younger. Taehyung isn't in his best condition and he might anger the younger even more.
"You don't know what's best for me, hyung." Taehyung shook his head. "I have to go home, please. My soulmate is waiting for me." He looked up on Hyungsik, eyes swimming with tears. He blinked and a small tear falls. Hyungsik averted his eyes from the poor cub.
"Can your soulmate even protect you? You're here because of his irresponsibility--" Hyungsik retaliated instead, making Taehyung's brows knit.
"Don't you dare." Taehyung threatens, hands fisted in his side. He blinked again the tears away.
"Why? He can't even keep you. I don't have any respect left for him. He's not meant for you." Hyungsik added.
"And you are?" Taehyung spat, disdainfully. "I trusted you, hyung." He added, voice full of hurt. Hyungsik flinched.
"Master Yashimoto only wants you to be safe, Taehyung-ah. All we ever want is your safety. All of this is planned just to protect you." Hyungsik explains carefully but Taehyung only shook his head again.
"You're sick. You all are." Taehyung hissed, glaring daggers at the older.
"My father, upon seeing those horrible things Dr. Kim did to you, he immediately contacted Master Yashimoto. See? Even my father worries for you a lot. We—"
"You've contacted the wrong person, hyung! What do you think you are doing? You should've contacted the police or what!" Taehyung yells making Hyungsik shift on his position. Seokjin, Taehyung and he fought a lot when they were a kid, but this is the first ever real fight between them.
