Chapter 2

/Sundaes POV/

I was reading a book when Lullaby burst through the door. “SUNDAE!! KOYO!!” I shot up from the book, “Huh?!” I yelled back. “MOON.. AND MAYABELLE- WERE CLIMBING.. THE MOUNTAIN WHERE-.. MONSTERS.. AND.....” Lullaby managed to get out. “Woah woah calm down! What happened?” Lullaby took a deep shaky breath, while she did koyohan was listening in. “Moon and Mayabelle climbed up that mountain where monsters came from...” Lullaby said. “...They WHAT?!” I got up from my seat immediately. “We have to go after them!” Koyohan yelled from the kitchen. “Koyohan, you should probably stay here..” Lullaby said to Koyohan. “But they're my friends too!” Koyohan stated, walking to the living room. “Alright just- stay by us, okay” I said. I really don't want her getting hurt. I thought. “Got it!” Koyohan said.

..Timeskip..

Everyone gathered the stuff they needed to hike up the mountain, I was heading towards the door; Lullaby and Koyo following. This is dangerous.. But they need our help. I continued walking, Lullaby helping Koyohan. “We're almost there.” I spoke. “Good, I'm tired..” Lullaby said as Koyohan nodded in agreement.

Silence passes before we reached the top of the mountain. “Here we are. ” I said, looking around. “Lullaby, you look around the top left. I'll take the top right, and Koyo.. Stay here please.” I could only hear Koyohan whisper a ‘But-’ Before I took off to look around the top right.

/Koyohans POV/

This isn't fair... I thought. I was going to help too. I started to walk forward and call out Mayabelle and Moons names. But before I could say anything else I felt myself losing balance, “Woah..-” Suddenly I felt myself starting to fall; I could hear Sundae and Lullaby calling my name but everything turned black.
