Chapter 3

/Moons POV/

Light. Everything is light. Where am I? I can't feel my body.. am I... dead?

Before I could think about it anymore I felt a calm blue aura surrounding me. I know this magic. I thought as I felt any pain or injury I had fade.

Then suddenly a loud ringing started in both of my ears as my vision was coming back. “Agh..-” I mumbled as I saw Mayabelles hands a few inches away from my body and blue light still sorrounding me. “Mayabelle?” I said as the blue aura faded. “Moon! Thank god you're not dead..” Mayabelle said. “What.. Happened?” I spoke; confused on why I'm laying in a patch of golden flowers. “Don't you remember? We climbed the mountain and-” I remember now. “Right.. yeah. How.. are we going to get back up? Could you fly?” I suggested. “No.. That height would drain my energy way too fast.” “Yeah.. Well, I heard there's an exit if we walk far enough.” I said. “I guess that leaves us no other choice,” Mayabelle said while getting up and helping me up. “Lets go then.” She finished and I nodded. We both started to walk until we spotted a large golden flower in the middle of a grass patch. It seemed to be wilted. Poor thing.. “Wait.” Mayabelle said to me. “I think it's moving..” Mayabelle took a step back. “Nonsense!” I said while moving closer to the flower and crouching down. I reached both of my hands out to the flower to try and heal it but it suddenly shot up and spoke “DON'T TOUCH ME!” It growled. “AH!” I said while falling back and moving away. It tried to bite me! “What the hell?! What is that!” Mayabelle spoke loudly. “Ahem.. I'm Flowey, Flowey the flower!~” It spoke in an obviously fake tone. “Now who are you?” The tone dropped instantly and changed into an impatient one. “Uhm.. I'm Moon and that's Mayabelle.” I said while getting up. “And why are you here?” It snapped. “We were dared by one of our classmates to climb this mountain and then we fell.” I said honestly. The flower just looked at me for a minute then snickered, “You realize you don't have to do dumb dares right?! Wow! And I thought the last human was an idiot..” Flowey said, giggling. “Atleast I'm not a flower.” I heard Mayabelle mumble. “WHAT WAS THAT?!” The flower yelled. “Nothing, nothing!” Mayabelle replied. “Ugh, let's just get this over with.” The flower said. “Huh?-” Suddenly white bullets surrounded me and Mayabelle. “DIE!” The flower said laughing, before we could defend ourselves the bullets suddenly stopped. The flower was looking at me with pure confusion. It whispered something before disappearing into the ground. I looked over at Mayabelle, confused while she just shrugged at me. “We.. We should probably continue.” I said while brushing myself off. Mayabelle nodded while we started to walk ahead.
