Branch slept peacefully in his bed, dreaming about his family. He smiled, rolling over onto his side.

Poppy walked in with Azalea, who was holding a tray of food.

"Branch," Poppy said quietly. Branch continued sleeping. "Branch," Poppy repeated, getting a little louder. He still didn't wake up. "Branch!" Poppy yelled.
"AHHHHH!" Branch screamed, startled, as he jumped, falling out of bed. "Ow," he groaned, rubbing his head, as he sat up.

"Happy birthday, daddy!" Azalea said, joyfully, holding out the tray of food. Branch looked at her, confused. "Thank you, sweetie," he said standing up. "But it's not my birthday."

"Wait... what?" Poppy said, even more confused.
"Yeah," Branch said. "My birthdays not till tomorrow."

Poppy slapped her forehead. "I did it again!?" she yelled, angry at herself. Branch smiled, walking over to hug her. "It's ok, Pops. Thank you anyways." He kissed her head, and she smiled up at him.

"But..." Branch said. "It is someone's birthday."
"Bridget? Oh we celebrated that yesterday. She and Gristle are going on their anniversary vacation today." Branch frowned.
"No," he said. "Not Bridget."
"Then who?" Poppy asked, confused.

Branch crossed his arms, glaring at her. "You know, for the kindest Troll ever, who loves doing things for people's birthdays, you are really bad at dates," Branch said. Poppy raised her eyebrow, and Branch sighed.

"It's Twig's birthday. Our son."

Poppy's eyes widened. "W... what?" she said. "It's Twig's birthday!? Oh god. I'm a terrible person!" She began to pace back and forth.

"Woah. Woah. Woah, Poppy," Branch said, grabbing her shoulders. "You are not terrible. You just have a lot on your mind being queen. I mean you planed 16 surprise party's last week. On the same day!"

Poppy sighed. "All those birthdays I remember, and I forget the most important ones." She flopped down on the bed, covering her face with her hands.

Branch sighed, heading over to sit next to Poppy. "I'll help you."
"What?" Poppy said, looking at Branch.
"I know you like to plan big birthday bashes all by yourself, but... I'll help you. We can do this Poppy. I mean you planned more party's with way less time than this before. Why can't we do it now? Together."

Poppy smiled, and sat up. "Thank you, Branch," she said, as she hugged him.
"And hey. I bet Azalea would love to help too. Wouldn't you, sweetie," Branch said, looking at his daughter, who was still holding the tray of food.

"Yeah!" she shouted, throwing up her hands in excitement, and accidentally tossing the tray of food across the room.

It splattered against the wall with a loud clang, everyone looking over at the mess.

"Oops," Azalea said. She looked at her mom and dad, placing her hands behind her back. "Sorry."
