Then we heard a beeping sound to see a man WITHOUT A FUCKING MOUTH!
He was already talking about the first part of the exam but all I could think about was, how was he able to talk.
When we started to run, I told Hiso-nii that I'll be running alone for a while. Then I sped towards Mr. Satotz.
"Excuse me, Mr. Satotz. Can I ask you a question?" I asked, when I cached up to him.
"Yes of course, what would you like to know?" He answered.
"Do you have a mouth? I mean, you can talk and all but I can't see your mouth" I asked, rambling a bit.
"Yes, I do have a mouth" He just answered.
I nodded thanks and sped down a bit for Hiso-nii to catch up. When he did, I looked at him with my puppy eyes.
"Can you carry me?" I asked.
"No."
"Please?"
"No."
"Pretty please?"
"No."
"But why?" I was getting annoyed.
"You can run for yourself or just conjure a skateboard" He said and sped up, so he doesn't have to hear me trying to protest.
But I followed his advice and conjured a skateboard. After a while of the others running and me and Nr. 99 riding our skateboards, I heard someone yelling.
It was the pervert I saw earlier. He was yelling at nr. 99 about how this was an endurance test.
"Excuse me mister but Mr. Satotz just said to follow him and not that it's an endurance test" I said from behind him.
"She's right Leorio" The kid with the spiky hair said.
"I'm Gon, who are you?" He asked 99 and me.
"I'm Killua"
"I'm Y/n, it's nice to meet you guys" I said, smiling.
"How old are you two?" Asked Killua.
"I'm 12" Said Gon and I at the same time.
'Same as me' I heard Killua whisper. I heard it thanks to my jobs with the Troup but normal people wouldn't have heard it.
"Killua, are you a Zoldyck?" I asked in a low tone, so just he could hear.
"Yes, how did you know?" He said/asked.
"Uhmm won't tell" I said with a cheeky smile "Maybe I'll tell you some other time"
He eyed me suspiciously but shrugged it off and began talking with Gon. I smiled softly to myself.
'I finally found some friends my age. I'll do anything to protect them' I thought.
"Nee Killua, Y/n. Let's race to the top of the stairs! The last two have to buy the first one lunch" Gon said after a while.
"Okay!/Sure!" Killua and I said.
"Okay, Ready? Start!" Said the boy with blond hair. He seemed to be a friend of Gons.
I could easily overtake them both but I wanted to keep a low profile at first. So I ran at the same pace as them.
"FIRST!" We all yelled at the same time when we arrived at the top of the stairs.
Killua and Gon started fighting about who was first and asked Mr. Satotz after a while. But I wasn't listening, I was looking at my surroundings.
'I don't know why but this place looks familiar. Was I here befor- wait, right! We're in the swindler's swamp! We're probably gonna go till the visca forrest' I thought.
"Mr. Satotz?" I just wanted to make sure.
"Yes?"
"Are we here in the swindler's swamp?" I asked.
"Yes, how did you know?" he asked.
"Oh, I was here a few times already!" I said with a cheeky grin.
After a while, the others arrived and the door thingy went down.
Mr. Satotz talked about the swindler's swamp and its dangerous creatures. I wasn't really listening because I don't know, it was boring.
After he was done, some injured dude came around the corner. He had a corpse with him and said something about 'this is the real examiner' and 'the one at the front is fake'.
He fucked me up, so I swiftly threw four cards at him and Hiso-nii threw four at Mr. Satotz.
"Well, well seems like Mr. Satotz is the real examiner. The examiners are all high-class hunters, to catch the cards isn't that hard" Nii-chan said.
"Also we threw them so easily, even a normal person would've been able to catch them" I added.
"Yes, thanks. But the next time you do something like that, I'll see it as attacking the examiner and you'll be disqualified" Mr. Satotz said.
"Yes of course~" Nii-chan said. I nodded.
"Well then, let's go" Mr. Satotz said and began walking again.
Hiso-nii disappeared after a while, so I went to search for Gon and Killua. 'They are both pretty interesting~ I'm sure that Nii-chan will take Gon and Illu-nii is too overprotective over Killua, so maybe that Leorio guy or the blondie'
"Gon! Killua!" I yelled when I found them.
"Y/n!" Gon yelled back. "I wanna go and look for Kurapika and Leorio, do you wanna come with me?" He asked.
"Uhm yea sure, why not" I replied with a shrug.
"Are you coming too, Killua?" I asked him.
He shook his head. I nodded and then left with Gon. After a few minutes of walking, we found Leorio. Hiso-nii was playing with him.
"Hey, you! Let go of Leorio!" Yelled Gon.
He then hit him with a fishing rod. Hiso-nii let Leorio down and grabbed Gon. He struggled to breathe. I had to do something or Gon was going to die.
"Hisoka Morrow. Let him down." I said, while releasing bloodlust.
Hiso-nii shivered and let Gon down. I am stronger than him, so when I used his full name, always means he in danger.
"Sorry Kaa-chan" He said.
"I already told you to stop calling me that, it's weird coming from you. But I forgive you, now take Leorio with you. I'll see you at the second exam site" I said.
"Gon, are you alright?" I asked him.
"Yea I'm fine!" He grinned. I smiled.
"Let's go then" I said and we left.
When we arrived, Killua came to us and asked if we're fine. I checked on Leorio. Then, the gate to the second exam opened to see...
