Chapter 3 - Second Exam With Big And Small

Then, the gate to the second exam opened to see a beautiful woman and a fat giant behind her. But I don't judge people, especially pro-hunters.

"Hi Guys, welcome to the second part of the hunter exam. My name is Menchi and the man behind me is Buhara, we are gourmé hunters" Menchi introduced.

Then Buhara stomach growled loudly. To be honest, that didn't even sound human-like.

"Seems like Buhara is hungry. Alright, your task is to make something edible for Buhara and me. What do you want?" She said and asked Buhara.

"I want pig" He said.

"Alright, pig it shall be. Now go!" Menchi said.

We all ran in the Forrest. The towers were all looking for a pig but I went to where they normally are. When I found them, I killed one and then went back.

I put my pig on my kitchen place and walked over to Menchi and Buhara.

"Excuse me but can I ask you something?" I asked.

"What do you need?" Asked Menchi back.

"Do you guys have some kind of favorite side dish or something like that?" I asked. Menchi looked surprised.

"Yes, I like salad and Buhara like a good sauce" She answered.

"Ah! Thank you very much. I'll start with your dish then!" I exclaimed and went back to my place to start.

Menchi pov

"She is interesting" Said Buhara.

"Yes, I know. She is the first person to ask us what we like. Through that, she can make her dish better" I said.

"She isn't older than 15 but seems so mature. I'm looking forward to her dish" Buhara said and I nodded.

Y/n pov

I had already cut the pig and put it in water to cook. Then I began with the sauce. It's basically from the pig's blood and a few ingredients and tada.

I often cook for the troupe, so this isn't very hard. I was so concentrated on my sauce that I didn't notice the presence behind me.

"Hmm smells good. You're in your element right now, right?" I jumped a little.

"Damnit Nii-chan you scared me! And yes, I am. You and your boyfriend can have some of the leftovers" I said.

"Thanks imouto, your cooking is just the best. Do you need help? Mine is cooking right now" Hiso-nii asked.

"Yes, please make that salade I taught you" I said. He nodded and began.

I turned back to my sauce. While it simmered, I began with my other side dish.

When I was done, I put it all on two big plates and walked over to Menchi and Buhara.

"Here is my dish, enjoy your meal" I said, smiling.

Buhara dug in first. And then, Menchi, for the second time today, took her fork and took a bite. Her face lit up.

"Wow, this is soo good! What is this?" She asked.

"It's cooked pig with potatoes, carrots, apples and cucumber. The sauce is gravy with a little blood and wine. The salad is a simple salad with lettuce, carrots, broccoli and paprika." I said.

"That does indeed sound very yummy, do you think I could have the recipe?" She asked. I nodded.

"You pass" she smiled. From Buhara's side was it clear that I would pass.

"Thanks!" I said and walked back. Then I gave Hiso-nii and Illu-nii some.

"Wow, that looks good! Can I have some?" Asked Gon.

"Yeah sure! Killua, Kurapika and Leorio can have too if they want" I said.

Long story short, everyone loved it. Hihi

Then the head hunter Netero came and said, we should take the second exam again.

So now we were in his airship on our way to Mt. Split in half for eagle eggs. But I didn't have to take the exam because I already passed.

"Good luck!" I told the others when we stood in front of Mt. Split in half. They thanked me and jumped.

After a few minutes, they let go and a strong wind came who blew them back up. That. Was. So. COOL!

Then they all boiled their eggs and ate them. I walked over to Killua and dipped my finger in his egg.

"Hmm, they are good! Wait a second" I said and jumped down the cliff.

I took 5 eggs and came back up, then I put them in one of my space pockets and walked over to the ship.

'The eggs are perfect for a meal with the troupe when I come back. I have 5 eggs, I think that's enough.' I thought.

Then we walked inside the airship to get to the third exam site...
