Chapter 3 Urokodaki

I told Tanjiro what the plan is and we back to his family. I help him bury his family. "I'm sorry for your loss Tanjiro..." he looks at me with sad smile. "Yes...but I'm sorry for your loss as well." I looked at him confused. "I can smell the blood on you...I knew you were scared when I met you. It's okay." His heart so gentle. So kind.

We made our travels but the clouds started to clear so we definitely needed to leave.

    Tanjiro left to find something to put Nezuko in so we can keep moving in the day. I kept my dads sword with me. Giyu thinks it was right after all. Till I return it to his grave and leave it there. For now my dad protects me.
I need to go check something out

Tanjiro got back with a basket. "Tanjiro.." he looks at me. "Head to Mt. Sagi and you'll find him. But for now I need part my ways for a moment I need to visit something." Tanjiro looked at me confused as I began to walk away. "___! Wait we can go-" "don't bother I'll be with you two in no time!"

I head to back of forest this is where my dad always come here to meditate.
I saw his patch of grass dance with wind. I stood down on grass and closed my eyes. Holding his sword out.

"Look here a free meal." I heard a hungry demon I'm assuming. But not the time to be distracted.

Take a deep breath. Dad showed me this. I can do this.
"Water breathing." Taking in the sea.
"3rd form. Flowing dance!" I open my eyes as this endless stream of water follow me to kill this demon in this graceful dance.

"This brat wasn't even looking at me and still fucking! Damnit!! ILL KILL!" He disappears in dust.

I place the sword away till I heard someone walking to me. "Who's there?!" I yelled.

"Just like your father...I'm surprised you even learned that." I look in front to see a man with red mask. "Urokodaki..." I remember him now. "Y/n Ando. Still as spitfire when you were young. You improved greatly now 15." I nodded. "Come on your other friend is close by."

We left my father site and hopefully he's proud of me.

    We made it over to a temple as the night sky sets. I saw Tanjiro kicked out of temple. "No!" I lunged forward but Urokodaki stopped me. "Watch." He told me.

   But if I just watch. My hand shaking on the handle of blade. "You know what it takes to be a demon slayer he does not."

        After Tanjiro saved Nezuko he came back to head and that's when finally Urokodaki introduced himself. But coldly. Tanjiro was hesitating on killing the demon. He took to long. The sun killed him.

   "Tanjiro..." I said as I stood by Urokodaki. "___. Your safe." I nodded. Urokodaki talked to him for a moment as I got Nezuko into her basket.

    Tanjiro picked up the basket and rushed after Urokodaki. With a sigh I try and catch up as well.

    We stopped at his little home as we place Nezuko down inside the house. She's sound asleep.

   Urokodaki lead us up the hill and we followed him.
"Where are we going!" I asked. "Hush child and follow." Urokodaki told me.

   We got to top I think. He looks at us. "Make it to my house and I won't wait all night this time!" Urokodaki told us as he disappeared into the mist. "That's it? ___! Piece of cake! I have his scent down!" Tanjiro ran down but he triggered a trap. "Ahh! That's why this is a challenge this whole place has traps!" I roll my eyes.
I don't think I ever mention this but I have amazing sight. I see better then anyone else. It was my moms gift too. So I suppose I inherited it. I can see every trap. "Lead the way and I'll try guide us pass traps!" I told him. He nods as we ran.

     We made it pass traps but I'm not fast enough. Nor it Tanjiro! I can't catch my breathing. I'm just heaving at this point. "You never told me your family was a respected demon slayers!" Tanjiro yelled as we dodge the traps. "I thought everyone knew the name Ando! You didn't bow or anything when we met! It felt weird! But yes my father was the Hashira of the water breathing! My mother was under him! But she did thunder breathing! The Ando family were known for their kin eyesight!" I tuck and roll pass a trap we nearly made it.

   "___! I promise I'll keep you safe! Just stick by me!" Tanjiro told me. "Sweet offer...I don't need protecting but thank you Tanjiro that's very kind."

  We got to bottom and burst open the door. "Made it..." I heaved.

    "Tanjiro Kamado and Y/n Ando. I accept you as my students."
