"Sunoo! Riki! Come down from your room-" the woman in her 40th ages shouted to her sons while preparing the dinner before it was too late

7 years old boy- Kim Sunoo ran down from the stairs while 5 years old boy- Kim Riki chased him with his short legs slowly stepping on the stairs as fast as he could "Ddunoo hyung- wait for me!"

Sunoo laughed at his brother with adoration and their mother watch them in awe "Now...sit on the chairs and ready to eat"

"Yes Omma!" The two little boys said in sync while her mother served the foods to them "Riki! Bungeo-ppang!!" Sunoo pointed the fish shaped pastry as Riki shout out how enjoyed he was

But the boys stop and flinched at the sound of the loud thud coming from the door. The woman noticed her husband came back from his work in drunk. The man looked at his wife, his son....and one little boy in the kitchen having some mini party

Sunoo worriedly glanced up his mother who's now standing in front of Riki like she was preventing him and he watch his father coming close to them with shaky steps.

"What is he still doing here in my house?" The man asked her wife with gritted teeth "W-we're having a dinner just now...sit- I'll take your plate and-"

"NO!!" the man picked up Riki's plate and throwed them on the wall, making the others to flinched and shout in shocked. The man then again pushed her wife to the ground with a harsh kicked on her stomach, Sunoo couldn't helped but to cried at what he just saw

The man now staring at the five years old boy with hatred and yelled at the boy but the expression wasn't his expectation. Riki didn't cried nor moved, staring back at the man on his eyes and this so called man can see fire on the little boy's eyes

"You dared!-" the man fiercely glared at the little boy and harshly grabbed his arms "You're not my son and you will never be...GET OUT!!" the man shouted for the last time before he dragged Riki out from the house, closing the door with a forced

The little five years old boy finally dropped his tears on his cheeks as he watched the door closed in front of his face. He walked and walked without knowing where to go. Riki was about to crossed the street but he can see the light shooting him from his side and the car was running towards him

The little boy already thought that he was going to die since his visions were blurred because of the light but he can felt that he got pulled back with a forced from behind, someone was hugging him

Riki looked up and saw Sunoo staring back at him with teary eyes. The two boys hugged each others and cried on the lonely street "you s-scared me Riki...don't ever do that again okay?" Sunoo tiny scolded his little brother while the boy nodded his head repeatedly

"Lets go home now...appa is asleep, we can sneak on our room and lock the door so he can't come inside"

"B-but he will hurt you and Omma-"

"He won't...don't worry and I'm gonna be with you all the time"

Riki tighten the gripped and hide his face on the older chest while Sunoo rest his head on the little boy's head and they finally smiled between their tears

"I promise that I will become stronger and taller when I get older to protect you from harm just like you did to me....and I'll stay by your side forever,I love you Ddunoo hyung!"
