29. Breakup..

"Now, no more mystery. This is my son, Kim Taehyung. I have to keep my family identity hidden because of some traitors. But now, all issues regarding our family is resolved. I'm relieved." Kim Jeong spoke.

It took me a minute or so to come back to my senses. I saw Jimin, who was already in shock.

"Our company, K&K Groups has widely spread all over the country. Now we have got the opportunity to extend our group internationally. All thanks to Mr. James Beckham." He paused.
"Please welcome, Mr. James Beckham. And his only daughter Christina Beckham."

*Applause*

"I'm honored by your presence." Kim Jeong shook his hand with James. "And I'm glad to know that your daughter too study in our institution."

"It's our pleasure to be the part of Kim's & Kim's Groups. And thank you for inviting for your personal party." James smiled and bowed to everyone.

"Please have your seat." Kim spoke.

"Christina Beckham? Huh!! This girl.. I didn't know Chrissy has such a well heeled background." Jimin raised his brow and crossed his arms in disgust.

I ignored his comment. "I'll go to him..." I hardly got up but Jimin yanked me back.

"Yoomi.. wait. Let's meet him after this party. Please be patient.... Can we watch our manners now? Pleaseeee?" Jimin requested.

I sighed and adjusted myself on the couch.

Kim Jeong continued his speech about his business, stock markets, profits and the extension of the company internationally.

"Huh! Why this speech isn't going to end? I can't wait to talk with Tae! I really can't hold back my confession anymore! It cannot be delayed any further.. He is my Tae!" I was getting impatient on each passing second thinking all these.

Lastly Kim Sooha spoke, "Apart from all the business talks, I really want to share something. I'm really excited to announce another news." She paused and exchanged her glance with Tae and gestured him to stand beside her. She smiled at everyone.

"Our son is getting engaged soon. Both of our families agreed and exchanged consents. It will be new start to our lives. I'm so happy, finally everything is settling."

A loud applause broke down, everybody cheered.

"Noo! This cannot happen... Tae, please tell it's all lie.. please.. I know you won't do this to me.." I thought to myself with finger crossed. My heart was beating faster.

Tae smiled at everyone and waved casually, "Hello everyone, I'm Kim Taehyung. Son of Mr & Mrs. Kim Jeong. I would like to show my gratitude to my parents who believed in me and you all to support me, as the next CEO. And it is the biggest responsibility to take. But fortunately I have got the biggest support from the T.O.P Team, the Managing Director, Min Yoongi."

Yoongi enters and lightly bows to everyone.

Tae continued his speech, "I hope, I will receive this support from you all till the end. And lastly, I'm happy that I'm engaging after my graduation. All thanks to my parents." He paused and smiled at his parents. "So there will be another gathering soon, with both of the families to make this news official. Once again thank you all." Tae bowed to everyone with a heart warming smile, as if nothing has happened.

"So now please carry on with the party and make yourself comfortable." Tae's assistant ended the speech.

Everybody left the hall to have the dinner which was specially arranged. Adults were having the toasts among themselves. Now it was only me and Jimin left among the guests in the hall.
