It was a warm sunny morning in the mid of summer. The light from the sun dazzles in Alyssa's eyes as she faces the old mirror placed in the front porch of their little home.
Her mother was combing her long black hair that glows as the sun touches it. She would smile everytime Alyssa's hair gleams, as she brushes it with the comb. Alyssa would also smile as she see her mom's smile reflect in the old mirror.
"It's only the two of us, but my love for you is more than the love all the people in the world could give." Her mother would always say.
Alyssa was eight then. The sweet young girl who was contented and happy with the small world she and her mother have.
And all she want is to be with her mother.
