Days of blossom became days of gloom.
"What's going on..." I muttered to myself in a sad tone.
My hands were filled with blood. The whole floor was filled with blood. At the sight of blood I screamed so loud that I could hear echoes. I had hemophobia.I felt a sharp pain in my neck, like sharp needles pierced into my neck set by set at different parts simultaneously. It was hard to bear at that moment. The pain moved down my body and made me feel tickled. The tickling made we feel weaker and weaker. My ears felt like a small insect lived in it and was probably going around doing chores. It was not funny.
I had passed out a few moments ago and could barely remember the events that had happened to me before that moment. All I could remember was few moments ago seeing blood gushing out of the mouth of a human figure. I then understood why the blood felt sticky and gross on my hands.
As I looked forward, I saw someone lying on the ground, lifeless. I couldn't even recognise who the person was. They were soaked with blood...it's from you...I thought. That was how the floor got all covered with blood.
Another scream and I became weak. I could feel my body shivering and my teeth gnashing, gritting, grinding...doing all they could in reaction to the pain I felt at that moment.
Then it started to drizzle, the sweet sound of the light showers reduced the tense in me. It released my spirit from fear. It was as if some burden had just left me.
Rain was always the right thing to calm me every time I was not in the right state. I loved nature, it always made me smile. But I couldn't smile at this moment, I could only...The breeze blew the curtains towards me and I felt a shock in me as the curtain nearest to me touch my body. I fell back to the ground where I managed to rise up from.
Did I just murder someone? Where is the knife? No poison bottle around. No murder weapon. Nothing! How? When? Thoughts came flooding in. I couldn't even think properly.
I heard footsteps and I suddenly gained energy and was able to lift my body up. I looked around. I saw the shadow of someone. It seemed they were looking toward my direction (I do not know how). They were holding a bag with their left hand and an object shaped like a knife...a sledgehammer...a chainsaw...a gun...a whip... everything that could be used to kill someone on the right hand.
I sat stiff on the ground for a while staring at that shadow.
I finally decided to stand up. As I moved my body, I saw the person's left hand move. I stopped for a while and I resumed trying to stand up. I've got courage...I said to myself.
The more I moved, the more they moved...your moving closer. I could not even tell the gender because the outfit was quite complicated, it covered their shape.I was already standing and looking at the shadow, they seemed so close to me.
"Who are you?" I asked. No reply. I decided to turn around and see for my self. No one?
I turned back around, I still saw the shadow. What?
I turned back again to look. What? "You must be somewhere."The person was not there. The last time I decided to turn again to see the shadow. Their right hand was high up. I raised my head up and looked back at the same time....and... I was on the ground...
I'm Carrie and I'll tell you how I got here.
