Your Pov

I fluttered my eyes open slowly, I was welcomed with a nasal cannula in my nose, a tube in my arm, which was injecting some kind of liquid, a pounding headache, and some bandages on my scraps and cuts. I slowly sat up in the, I assumed, hospital bed trying not to hurt myself. I decided to take in my environment, I was in a white brick room with tiled floors and a wooden door with a small glass window on it. Next to the bed I was in, there was a medical machine that was beeping along with a Hyperbaric medicine that my nasal cannula was hooked up to, next to it there was a long pole with a bag of the same liquid being injected into me hanging from the top of it, when I turned to my left side I saw a small wooden bedside table with a vase that had flowers inside with a note saying "Get well soon, Love Erik and Sasha L/N" I smiled at the small note and recognized the decently sized window with two chairs in front of it, the window had a view of the parking lot with some cars in it...Wait what happened? Why am I in the hospital? Where's Mom?

"I'm scared!" I screamed aloud as my voice cracked at the sudden yelling, tears fell from my face. Running could be heard from outside the room and in came a nurse, he had curly red hair, blue eyes, and some freckles splattered all over his cheeks, he was in his mid-twenties.

"Are you okay, Ma'am!?" He questioned worriedly, I looked at him in fear at first, taking deep breaths, I calmed down and responded to him

"I-I'm sorry, Sir. I didn't mean to yell so loudly...I'm just scared, I don't know why I'm here. I just want mother.." I spoke, my voice shaky and dry. The man lightly smiled, walked over to me, and sat down on one of the chairs next to my bed.

"Well, Ma'am everything is going to be okay. You got in a car accident and had hit your head pretty badly, that's why you're here, so you can recover." He answered with a calm and relaxing tone.

"Where's mother..?" I didn't know where she was, was she okay?! His smile faded slowly and as he looked down and back up at me.

"She's..She's in a happier place now.." His words were like a wave crashing down on me, it was hard to move, breathe, or even speak. Without even knowing so, tears fell from my cheeks once more, I felt frozen in time, the world stopped turning, everything felt as if it was stuck in place.

Ever since that day, I never felt the same...

It's been 3 months since the accident happened. News had spread like wildfire on social media, my Twitter timeline was flooded with tweets like "Justice for Y/N!", "Praying for Y/N!", etc etc etc. I rolled my eyes at the tweets but was happy to know people cared for me. I was in an orphanage because Erik and Sasha wouldn't be able to take me in due to them always traveling and I don't even know anyone other than my Brother and my Mother. So I had nowhere to go, I'm too young to live on my own and was now stuck at an orphanage, alone.

I was allowed to pack most of my stuff, leaving behind my deck, bed, chair, and the famous LED lights, I'm gonna miss those lights...Anyways! Today I was informed that I am getting adopted by a young man, which I think, If I remember correctly, was named Danny? No, or was it Derek? I don't know, but I will soon! I grabbed my duffel bag and suitcase, walking over to my small dresser, and packing my clothes along with my other personal belongings. The orphan keeper cracked me and the others door open, walking in with a smile on her face.

"Are you excited?" She asked with her soft voice echoing through the room keeping hold of the door's handle. I looked up at her with my duffel bag hanging across my body and with my suitcase behind me.

"Kinda, also what's his name again..? I forgot" I gave a cheeky smile as I answered. I tended to forget things much easier since the crash. I mean I'm not shocked, like the nurse said, I did hit my head pretty hard.

"His name is Darryl, he did come from Texas to get you." She added "Also, he should be here in around an hour. You still need to get in the shower and get dressed in our uniform, so get to it." She requested with a clap of her hands and a smile, I nodded, setting my bags down, grabbing my towel and uniform walking to the bathroom to shower.

After my shower I change into my orphanage's quote on quote uniform which is just dark brown skirt suspenders, a long bell sleeved cream colored turtleneck shirt, a brown ribbon neck bow, cream colored tights, and dark brown flat Mary Jane shoes. I walked over to where my bags were, grabbing my hairbrush and a small mirror, taking the two sides of my hair, pulling them back, and clipping it with a cream-colored snap hair clip. I put back my hairbrush along with my small mirror, grabbed my duffel bag and suitcase, and walked out of the bedroom. That I will leave once more. I look back one more time, closing the wooden door and walking over to our main room where kids wait to be picked up after the parents' sign papers verifying it's them.

Clare, one of the many orphans that are here walked up to me and sat down on one of the chairs that sat next to mine. She had blondish-reddish long hair, green emerald eyes, and wore a light blue plaid dress with sandals. Her face looked saddened but also a hint of happiness.

"I'ma miss you, y/n." Her words spoke with love and sadness. I weakly smiled and turned to face her.

"I'm gonna miss you too, Clare. You were my first friend, ever since I arrived here." I spoke quietly to her, tears fell from her face as she jumped over to me and hugged me tightly as if she was never gonna let go. My eyes began to water up as I hugged her back, she was 3 years older than me but acted as if she was my younger sister, and I saw her as one. We released from our hug as the same Orphan keeper as before walked up to us.

"y/n, your new father is here to pick you up." her words were like a lemon, bittersweet, I nodded and smiled lightly, grabbing my bags, waving Clare goodbye and walking away with the keeper. She led me to the main desk where a man with silky brunette hair, pale skin and glasses stood waiting, why does he look so familiar..? He was facing the lady at the front desk talking to her.

As the keeper and I walked closer and closer to the male, I soon recognized who he was.

"y/n meet your new father Dar-"

"Bad..?"
