Being a king had always been a radical dream to Bill, nothing but a child's wildest fantasy.

He was an ambitious young boy, eager to build his kingdom from the ground up. If the luxurious, lavish lifestyle of royalty wasn't handed to him on a silver platter, he decided to serve it to himself. Through hard work, dedication, and a bit of exploitation, Bill got himself a crown.

In 1968, he began programming computers at age thirteen. In 1972, he co-founded Traf-O-Data, a company to analyze local traffic patterns. In 1975, he dropped out of Harvard to co-found Microsoft.

He became a billionaire rolling in cash, set for life. He married Melinda French and had three children, Jennifer, Rory, and Phoebe. Despite all of this, he wasn't truly happy. Though he was accomplished, he remembered his childhood dream. There was something missing from his life.

He happened to meet her on March 2, 2005.

Bill Gates kneeled in front of Queen Elizabeth, eager to become a knight. This was about as close as he'd ever be to becoming a king.

Or so he thought.

When Bill heard the news on April 9, 2021, he had never been happier. Not his wedding day, not the birth of any of his children, not even the day he became a billionaire could compare to hearing that the Queen's beloved husband and cousin had passed away. He cheered, jumping up and down despite his ripe old age of 65.

This was finally his chance. His opportunity had arrived. He'd waited his whole life for this, and you best bet Bill was going to get the crown he knew he deserved.
