Chapter 16: holding on hope

Skye pov: I was shaking Chase trying to wake him up. Even Marshall and Everest tried to wake him up too. But nothing worked. Tears started to form in our eyes.
Skye: MARSHALL YOU HAVE TO DO SOMETHING ANYTHING!!!
Marshall: Skye please calm down.
Skye: CALM DOWN?! ARE YOU INSANE MARSHALL?! CHASE IS DYING AND YOU WANT ME TO CALM DOWN!!!! HOW IN THE LIVING HELL CAN I CALM DOWN?! HUH?!
Marshall: I-I-I.... I don't know? B-but panicking won't help any one of us. I can't help Chase in this state but I know who can help us if we get out here. I promise she can help us. But please just calm down.
Everest: Marshall right. Panicking won't help us. Skye please just calm down.
I breathed in and I breath out because I knew Marshall and Everest were right panicking won't help us.
Skye: You're right Marshall. Panicking won't help us. Its just I don't want to lose Chase. Not when we are this close
Marshall: I know Skye. I know. I promise he's going to be okay.
We all got up and picked Chase up and then Everest picked the locks then we all exited the cell carefully making sure that we all won't get caught it was an long progress of escaping the facility but we all made out. We all went to our vechicle while Marshall set Chase in his firetruck we started our vechicle and followed on where Marshall was driving to. I was just hoping and praying to the dogs that he's survival.
Skye: Marshall where we going to?
Marshall: To adventure city hospital.
Skye: Do you think that this person will help Chase? I mean we don't even know what's even wrong with him.
Marshall: Trust me. She's been through this kind of stuff before. I'm sure she'll help us.
Skye: Okay if you say so.
We droved all the way to adventure city and found the hospital we all rushed inside hospital. All of the doctors were shocked to see that Chase has blood coming out of his mouth and nose.
Doctor Victor: Oh God what happened to Chase?!
Marshall: I Don't Know! Please you got to help him.
Doctor Victor: I'll get our best doctor. She'll know what to do.
Marshall: Thank you so much.
The rushing doctors picked up Chase and placed him upon the stretcher and then sprinted acrossed to the emergency rooms I wanted to go to be there for Chase but some of the nurses stopped me in my tracks.
Nurse Annabelle: Sorry Skye. But we can't let you come with us.
I sighed in defeat knowing the fact that I can't convince them to let me be with Chase then as I watch them take Chase to medcical warden I walked to Marshall and Everest.
Everest: Skye Chase is going to be alright I promise.
Skye: I wished I could believe you Eve. I really do.

Few minutes later

I was in the waiting room waiting for the doctors to tell us the results. I heard the door creak and saw an dalmanatin
Maxwell: All right I gots a lot of good news for you all.
Skye: really no bad news.
Maxwell: Yes really. Now any ways Chase is going to be alright.
Skye: Really?!
Maxwell: Yes you can see him. He's in room 109
Skye: Thank you! Thank you so much.
Marshall: Thank you nursery.
Maxwell: hey anything for my brothers best friend.
I walked around the hospital halls and looked at the room numbers then finally I found the specific number that Chase was I carefully opened the door and see chase completely healthy and alright. I ran to him and gaved him a big hug
Skye: Ch-Chase I-I thought I lost you.
Chase: Hey Skye I told you before. I'll always be there for you.
Skye: Chase you don't understand you nearly died today...... Chase I don't want to lose you..... Chase if something happened to you. I don't know what to d-
I was cut off by an warm and gental kiss on the lips I didn't knew how to react for an few moments until I found an way to react was to embrace him my hands wander around Chase's chest it went on for minute until we finally decided to stop to catch our breaths then Chase nuzzled me.
Skye: Chase. I love you.
Chase: I've always loved you Skye. Always. And that will never change.
As Chase finished his sentence Chase turned attention to the clock in the room.
Chase: Look at the time. You should get going.
Skye: NO!! I'm leaving your side!!! Not again!!!!
Chase: I know Skye. But please. It past your visiting time. But I promise you can see me again tomorrow.
I sighed in defeat knowing the fact that he was right. And as much I wanted to stay with him. But me and Chase both know to follow the rules. But he'd said I could visit him again. I walked to exit door but before leaving I waved goodbye to Chase then exited the room.
