SEOKJIN POV
"Wh-what... my mother... what do you mean... my mother?!" I replied as I looked at him in anger, and he smirked as he turned his back at me.
"Joonseo was also a very loyal dog. She proved how much she loved her husband. Such a pain now that she didn't know how much use she would bring me," Hyunseok tuts and I gritted my teeth before jolting forward, staring at him.
"You... you monster! You don't deserve to be treated like a human!" I shot back as I tried to get out of these restraints.
Mom and dad were killed, they didn't die peacefully.
But, will I ever continue living peacefully after knowing this?
"Calm down Seokjin. I only took care of Joonseo though. She was too weak for it so I decided to take care of it for her. But I don't know about your father, I was surprised after knowing that he actually died," he said as he looked at me with a smirk.
"Tell me... exactly why are you doing this?" I asked as I stared at him.
"To overthrow KimHit of course. That was my main point. The fact that even Seongjoo considered me as a friend was a dumb enough fact. I can't believe my daughter even liked a person like you," he said and my eyes widened as I looked at him.
"What about dad... what happened to him?!" I exclaimed and Hyunseok only tsked before staring down at me.
"Honestly, I have no clue. He must have died naturally. I didn't even visit him on the day he died," he replied before walking towards Youngyeon.
"And your lover here.... she's foolish too. The reason why she became rich is because this dog helped her, and also because it was an advantage for us," he explained as he stared down at Youngyeon.
"It's not nice to make fun of another person's hardwork, scumbag," Youngyeon muttered and Hyunseok smirked in amusement.
"Youe father... Lee Kyeongyoo. He was nice indeed and there were infamous rumours about the dead man, a shame he died without seeing his wife and daughter," Hyunseok sighed.
"How do you know about her? Did you kill her dad too?" I asked him and he smiled.
"This Lee Youngyeon is the one that called us to search for his father.
...but she never knew the people who she paid to find her father were the culprits."
My brow twitched as he chuckled.
"I always wanted to see the downfall of KimHit. It makes me happy to see another "Powerhouse of Korea" shut down just like that," he sighed happily as he stared at me.
"And you. Kim Seokjin, stop acting like you're perfect. Just because you're a main character doesn't mean you're always right," Hyunseok said and I grumbled before looking at him.
"I admit, I'm not right, and I'm also not wrong. But it doesn't hurt to share your own experiences in life so people could also make their own perspectives. I believe that people have different point of views," I replied.
"Oh, is that so? For once, I agree with a man like you. But Seongjoo, is the man I could never agree with. He thinks he's powerful, and even marries whoever he likes, and even betrayed somebody. Am I right, Taehyung?" He asked the man who was silent at the back.
"I have raised Taehyung since he was a kid, and even his father was absent in those times. I taught him how to defend, and how to kill. He obeys anything I say," he said as Taehyung looks down at the floor.
