He still rides this bus...
After my break from the outside...everything feels amazing. The weight on my shoulders has lifted.
I see that there's a space beside where he's standing so I take my chance. I think of ways to start a conversation but all I can do is send him a smile.
His eyes matching the color of his dark hair. I'm still a few inches shorter than him though.
He is pretty cute. Ever since I saw him on the bus during the days I couldn't help but stare.
I remember wondering what school he attended since he never wore a uniform.
But once I saw his color lanyard I knew which school he went to.
Today I have returned from my hiatus and am more refreshed.
The bus stops and I see that it's my stop. I see the boy step off first but his lanyard gets stuck and slips out of his pocket.
I grab it and shout a thank you to the driver. Walking after the boy with the dark eyes I don't take the time to notice he goes the same direction as I.
Running after him I tap his shoulder. Pretty sure I'm red right now.
I hand him his lanyard and explain to him that he forgot it. Thanking me we have a moment of awkwardness.
"You're welcome." I start to then awkwardly rub the back of my neck. "I'm gonna go now...since I umm...you know have to get home."
I start to walk in front of him as he shouts at me to not be scared when he sees me going the same way. I couldn't help but laugh when I heard him.
I bit my lip and smiled.
Glad that I got help...
