Pearl-disguised as Rose Quartz-stabbed a sword through Pink Diamond, poofing her. What remained what supposed pink shards. But in the Pearls hand, laid Pink Diamonds gem. She heard her comrades behind her cheering, while the nearby Homeworld Gems looked at her with a pure look of rage. Most of the other Homeworld gems scurried off to fight a Crystal Gem, but two gems, a Ruby and a Jasper, stayed. They looked furious. Who had the audacity to shatter a Diamond? This Rose Quartz for sure

Multiple battle cries could be heard in the background, as well as the clanging of weapons. Pearl hadn't forgot the battle she had with a certain prism-bearing Hessonite, but she still felt brave. She did feel shameful to poof her Diamond, but since her Diamond was okay with it, she was okay with it. She ran behind a large rock and took out her gemstone.

Pearl was getting very impatient for her to reform-nobody could find out her secret. If anybody did, she would, unfortunately, have to shatter them so the secret wouldn't roam around Homeworld. A few tears started to build up.

"I-I'm sorry, m-m-my d-diamond..." She mumbled.

Until Pink Diamond's gem started to glow and lift up into the air as a feminine figure formed. The figure started to grow locks of curly hair, and eventually, her Diamond, whom she highly loved and respected, appeared.

"I'm s-so-sorry m-my Diamond..." Pearl sobbed gently, looking down at the grass.

"It's okay Pearl. I was okay with it, besides, I'm with you and the others, so what more could I want?" Rose accepted her apology and lifted up Pearls face.

"I hate to say it Pearl, but the Diamonds may retailiate. Theres little time. They had a certain... song that could corrupt gems. We have to evacuate the others." Rose said.

"Your favorite Jasper will be furious at you..." Pearl warned. "Shes not my favorite anymore. Shes an enemy. Not someone who I like." Rose answered.

"We have to get to the battlefield, Rose." Pearl said. They ran several miles and met up with Garnet before running into the battlefield.

There was still a lot of fighting, clanging of swords, and fire. Fusions ravaged the battlefield, taring grass and poofing any gem that got in their way.

Commanders watched the battlefield, occasionally having no choice but to fight.

---With 2 commanders---

"Man, this really is something, isn't it?" A Hessonite asked a Kyanite. "Yeah, theres been alot of fighting. I've lost alot of my soldiers." The Kyanite said, sniffling.

"I have, too. We have no idea where they're bubbling them off to." The Hessonite said, dodging a spear being flung at her. "And then some of those rebels like to throw their weapons at us." She complained, glaring at the Fire Quartz that had thrown it at her.

"Honestly it's just chaos. Fusions ravage the battlefield, weapons being thrown at us, and us losing our soldiers has no benefit. I don't know what the Diamonds were thinking. Oh well, can't question their motives. After all, they-"

"Thats enough, Hessonite. I was going to speak." The Kyanite cut off.

"So, you know that one Hessonite with the Prism?" The Kyanite asked.

"Uhh, yeah. What about her?"

"You'd be surprised how many gems her light constructs've broken. 10,000 of Rose Quartzs gems have already been broken. And this is only 300 years into the war."

Several laser light cannons, one of Roses newest inventions shot off towards the two commanders. They dodged beams of light as if they were lasers.

"Ugh! One of Roses newest inventions. Petty." Hessonite complained.

"It'd be better if I could meet her myself."

"Don't tell me-"

"No, no. I won't, Hessonite. I'll shatter her myself."

"True."

"My Nephrites ships have been shot down by those laser light nonsense. It'd be a pain if my ship was destroyed and I would be stuck here."

Kyanite nodded.

"Honestly, why doesn't White Diamond send in her forces? They're stronger than any of these pathetic rebels." The Hessonite looked down on the battlefield as different colors of height and width fought.

They continued to observe the war. It was only 300 years in, and the war didn't seem to be ending anytime soon. Fire was everywhere as the two Homeworld commanders watched the scene.

"About 29 of my soldiers have been shattered, 26 have been bubbled, and 16 are still alive," The Hessonite chimed.

"You must have a lot of soldiers." The Kyanite said, looking at the Hessonite.

"Trust me, Kyanite, I have way more Nephrites and Rubies. About 100 of my rubies have been broken, 209 have been bubbled, and 789 are still active. As for the Nephrites, 71 have been broken, 109 have been bubbled, and 678 are probably running for their lives since their defenseless. Once this war ends, I'll have to scold them. I haven't lost a single Topaz, though."

"Thats a lot of gems, Hessonite!"

"Eh, still I have plenty of Peridots that are not involved in this war. About 30,000 are on Morganites colony. Hey, have you hearc one of her Rubies and Pearls keep fusing and she keeps having ti rejuvenate them?" Hessonite gossiped.

"Hessonite, gossip!" Kyanite scolded.

"But you must have a lot of gems, Hessonite." Kyanite continued.

"I barely have any- could you give some of your gems to me and my friend Pyrite?" Kyanite asked.

"Oh, depends on how many you have." Hessonite answered.

"I have only 3 rubies, 2 Peridots, 3 Quartzes and a single Lapis." Kyanite replied.

---Back on the battlefield---

"Rose, I don't think this war will end very soon!" Pearl yelled, poofing a Carnelian with her spear as she attempted to get to Rose as quick as possible without shattering anybody.

"Of course it won't!" Rose yelled back, throwing back a Bismuth and an Agate. She uppercutted the Bismuth before poofing the Agate.

"This is too intense, Pearl. Shall we?" Rose said once Pearl managed to get to Rose. "Of course, Rose!" Pearl grabbed Roses hand as the duo began to fuse.

And out came Rainbow Quartz! Grabbing Roses sword and Pearls spear, she quickly formed a light saber, whose light was rainbow. All gems in the crowd were immediately stunned, giving the Crystal Gems the advantage. A Lapis Lazuli summoned 100 water soldiers and poofed Homeworld gems.

With a snap of her fingers, many laser light cannons activated, flinging and poofing any gems caught off-guard, accidently poofing 5 Crystal Gems.

It all ended with the duo unfusing quickly but stably.
