"Kacchan!" The high-pitched squeal could be heard throughout the dormitory, a deep laugh echoing after it. "Stop it, I'm going to burn breakfast!" Izuku giggled, swatting his boyfriend's fingers away from his ticklish sides, making the other chuckle, wrapping his arms around his waist from behind."You smell nice," he hummed, burying his face into the crook of his neck, the sweet scent of his apple shampoo and lavender body wash filling his nose. "I love you,"
Smiling sweetly, Izuku leaned his head back to kiss his forehead. "I love you too Kacchan," he nuzzled their cheeks, going back to the pancakes to flip them before they started to burn. "Can you go wake Kota, please?" Making another sound of content, Katsuki squeezed the teen once more, kissing his shoulder before he released him. "Thank you!" Izuku called after him as he exited the kitchen, earning a grunt in return that just made him roll his eyes with a small giggle and a shake of his head.
Meanwhile upstairs, Kota was already up and dressed for the day, his bag packed and futon folded in the corner along with the blankets and pillows. He quietly sat at the desk chair, legs dangling idly as he stared at his hands that day in his lap, an unwarranted heaviness in his chest and a lump in his throat. "Hey squirt," Kota's head snapped up at the sound of the older male, his hat tilting to the side from the sudden movement, watching with labored breaths as the blond moved across the room with ease, only stopping to squat in front of him. "What's with the tears kid?" Reaching up, the toddler's fingers were met with moisture when he touched his cheeks. "Did something happen?"
"D-Don't wanna go," the boy's bottom lip trembled, lifting his arms out for the teen who wasted no time in gathering the six-year-old into his arms and holding him close, swaying and bouncing softly as he rubbed his back in soothing circles. "I wanna see Sosaki but-but I don't wanna leave!" Kota blubbered out, fresh tears rolling down his chubby cheeks as he shoved his face into Katsuki's shirt, wetting the black fabric. "Love you and Izu, wanna stay!"
"Oh, buddy," Katsuki cooed, knocking his hat off to thread his fingers through his dark hair, pressing his lips to his temple as he spoke the words his aunty Inko once told him when he was his age. "It's not like you're leaving forever baby," he bounced the child gently as he paced the room, being sure to keep his voice at a leveled volume just like she did that day. "You'll come to visit us again," he promised him, wiping the tears from his cheek with the pad of his thumb, nostalgia warming his heart as he remembered his aunty doing each step with him when he had to go home after spending a weekend with them. He just had so much fun and those feelings were just a bit too big for his small body to handle resulting in a fit such as the one Kota was having. "We'll even come to see you," he held his face gently in his hand, marveling at how small Kota really was compared to him. "This isn't goodbye kiddo," Katsuki smiled softly when he looked up at him, giving his forehead a gentle kiss. "Just a see you soon, okay?"
Nodding, Kota repeated that to himself a few times until he soon beloved those words as well. "Yeah," the child mumbled out, resting his dizzy head on the teen's shoulder, feeling drained from his crying episode. "Just see you soon," he tucked his arms into his chest, allowing Katsuki to hold him longer.
After a few more minutes of cuddling the two made their appearance downstairs, sitting next to each other at the table with goofy grins and childish banter as they ate their pancakes soaked in maple syrup and peanut butter. Izuku smiled at them from across the table, watching them fondly as Katsuki cut the toddler's food into bite-sized pieces as Kota babbled on about how Nate and Whisper had to help their friends that were possessed by a Yo-Kai Tengloom, the older gasping and commenting at the appropriate moments.
"And then-!"
"Someone's hyped," Shoto chuckled lightly, slipping into the chair beside him with a cup of frozen tea in one hand and a burnt bowl of soba in the other. "Big plans today?"
Deciding not to question the duel user on his choice of breakfast, Izuku nodded with a bright smile. "Yup!" Shoveling his breakfast into his mouth. "We're going to the mall and lunch, then the park," he listed, chewing through mouthfuls of food, his morning workouts always leaving him famished.
"Yeah, I think I might order something to eat myself," Shoto sighed, pushing his failed attempt at using his Quirk to cook faster away from him in shame.
"Oi, boy band reject," Katsuki whistled at him, sliding a stack of pancakes over to him. "Me and the kid are full, so eat," he stood, picking Kota up and setting him on his hip. "Don't give me that look," he glared at the multicolored teen when he raised a brow at him. "Eat shithead!" He pushed the back of his head as he walked by, going to wash Kota's face and get their things together.
"Don't look at me!" Izuku shrugged, shoveling the rest of his pancake into his mouth and downing his cup of tea before quickly standing with his empty dishes, putting them into the sink. "It's how he shows he cares." He scooped his wallet and phone off the table before scampering off, leaving Shoto behind to shake his head with a small smile, singing into the warm pancakes.
"He was such a good boy," He smiled brightly, greeting the older woman at the front door with Katsuki's arm wrapped around his waist. "Please, don't hesitate to call if you need a babysitter," Izuku bent down to the boy's height after handing Sosaki his backpack, their pictures packed safely away in the frames they brought at the mall along with their matching keychains. "Or if he just wants to come see us," he smiled more, accepting the hug Kota reached out for, holding the back of his head to his shoulder and kissed his temple. "I love you, Kota, we'll see you soon," he reductively let him go so he could give his goodbyes to Katsuki, hugging him just as tight.
"Thank you again Midoriya," Sosaki bowed happily, taking Kota's hand afterward. "We'll call you soon!" The two waved once more, walking down the dormitory steps and into the night.
"I'm going to miss that kid," Katsuki chuckled, shaking his head as he sat down on the couch and pulled Izuku down beside him. "He's a little shit but," he shrugged, letting the greenette drape his legs over his lap, laying his head on his shoulder. "He definitely grows on you," he confessed, earning a giggle and a nod of agreement before they fell into a comfortable silence as their classmates started to file back into the dormitory, some stopping to say hello and talk about their week with them, while other found their way back to their rooms to get ready for school tomorrow, or lingered in the kitchen to talk quite with their friends.
"Kacchan?" Izuku asked softly as to not draw attention to their conversation, earning a soft him in return as his head was lifted by his chin, Katsuki's forehead resting against his as he drew him closer by the waist. "Can we have kids one day?"
Katsuki couldn't help but smile, placing his lips to the younger's. "Depends," he shrugged lightly, settling comfortably into the couch with his boyfriend in his arms, snuggled tightly to his chest. "Who's last name are they taking?"
