So after yesterday where the cops came, turns out my mom is trying to sue my dad for something and is trying to gain custody of me. They'll be in court in about 3 months or so. Honestly, if they would let me choose, I would totally live with my dad. And I'll probably get a restraining order on my mom and her boyfriend. I just feel like they're going to kidnap me at some point and just lock me up in the basement. I'm also pretty sure my dad is gonna win this case. There is no possible way my dad is going to lose.
Oh how I hate school, especially my stupid teachers, they always blame the students for their own problems. Hell even personal problems. Not to mention the kids there always do drugs or always get in fights, no one, not even the teachers or principals, try to stop them. They don't even fix up the busted lockers after a fight or something. I'm still surprised that this school is open.
The only good thing that's a part of school, is meeting up with my group of friends. A group of 7 to be exact, including me. Will, Deri, Darron, Bara, Derick, Damian, and me. The sucky part about the group though, is that we got different class schedules. We're all the same grade and everything, but this damn school doesn't know how to make class schedules and just messes everything up.
" Yo Kiesto, what's up bro?" Yelled Darron at me.
Yeah Kiesto's my name, what's it to ya?
"Nothing much, how about you bro?" I replied back.
"Nothing much either dude, just waiting for the gang y'know?" He replied back.
"Yeah I get you holmes." as I replied.
Me and Darron waited at the front gate for an hour for the rest of the gang to show up. Within 10 minutes or whatever, Deri and Bara showed up.
"Hey guys what's up" They both said to me and Darron.
"Nothing much, how 'bout you ladies?" replied Darron.
"The usual" Deri replied.
Me, Darron, Deri, and Bara waited for Will, Derick, and Damian to show up. Only Will and Derick showed up.
"Damn what's taking Damian so long?" Asked Bara.
"No idea but class is starting, we should go." Will said.
We all went to our different classes. My first period class is with Damian and Will, honestly, they aren't too bad of science lab partners. After like, 36 minutes of class went by, Damian came in late.
"My bad teach, trust me, last time you'll ever see me in class again. W-well late for class I mean." said Damian as he's walking in.
"Just sit down." replied the whor- I mean teacher.
Damian had these weird look in his eyes, like I've never seen before. It kind of spooked me a bit, but I just brushed it off. We all just messed around in class, not doing any of the work. After a while Will tripped on a backpack and he fell on the annoying girl in class, making her spill her Cheetos bag all over the floor. The thing that made it funny though, is that Will made a face while falling. Like he was making a face of a dog and a monkey mixed together. Me and Damian died of laughter for like 5 minutes straight, so was Will.
"Ugh, you guys will pay for this. Just clean the floor so you don't have to pay me." yelled the annoying bi- I mean girl.
"Who taught the Oompa Loompa how to talk?" said Damian.
The whole class just started dying of laughter, hell even the teacher. The annoying girl, who we'll call Chelsea for the hell of it, started crying. No one felt remorse, hell even her friends. After we all calmed down, I saw a tear come from Damian's eye.
"Aye, you good?" I asked him.
He noticed that there was a tear in his eye and he wiped it off. "Yeah, it's nothing." He replied.
I got a bit suspicious of him planning something, but I Just brushed it off.
After a while we went to our 2nd period class, which was P.E. I have P.E. with Will, Bara, and Darron. Today's sport was basketball, and we got to pick our own teams. Darron was a team captain and so was another kid higher than our grade. Mostly all of us were picked to Darron's team since we're kind of good at the sport. First game was up, we were playing defense, I was point guard for that game. They managed to get a point, but we were ready to take the lead. We were now on offense, I was on the right side of the court, I was free like a bird in the sky. Darron had to ball so he passed it over to me, I nearly missed the grab but managed to get it. I took the shot, but while I was taking the shot I got rammed by some kid and made me flail the shot a little. Some how, in the blip of the whole 2 seconds the ball was in the air, the wind pushed it into the hoop. We were now tied. The game kept on going for another 15 minutes, we were down by 4 points. Darron got out Will and some other kid, and put the other two kids on the bench. Will was a great ball handler, within those 10 minutes of the first quarter, he juked about 3 people at once, juked their captain, and got us 5 points above them. The final 15 of the first quarter was a bit challenging, I managed to score twice, Will scored about 6 times, and Darron scored 5 times. We were killing the other team. Now we're in the 2nd quarter of the game. Will was getting blocked by some kid so he passed the ball over to me. While I was making the shot, the same kid rammed me and injured my shoulder a bit. He got benched for the rest of the game. Darron and Will helped me up, and well I had to get benched because of my injured shoulder. I sat next to Bara and she gave me an ice pack for my shoulder.
"Bara, you're up!" yelled Darron.
"Oh! Time for me to go! Take care of your shoulder!" Bara told me.
"Good luck!" I replied back.
In school, our 2nd quarter is the last quarter for some dumb reason. So I hope that my team will win this. The final 10 seconds of the game and we're tied, they had the ball so the had to be very defensive. Their captain shot the basketball and missed, now we had the ball for the final 5 seconds of the game. Darron passed the ball to Will, but then Will was get surrounded so he passed the ball to Bara who made the shot within 1 second left. We won the damn game.
After 3rd period and what not, we went to lunch. We all met up at our table but Damian wasn't there. We got a bit worried but then we convinced ourselves that he'll come in later. 15 minutes later, we heard something just go BOOM. Then we started seeing other kids running away. We got a bit worried then we heard it again. It was very clear to us what was happening at that moment. A school shooting was happening at our school.
