"Hi! So I'll start off by saying I'm queer/maybe lesbian. And I go to a very conservative school. My one pastor is very homophobic and he has implied that I'm going to hell. I'm not out to him or anything, but he likes to say that if gay people don't repent they go to hell. He also says it can be fixed. I'm stuggling. I know he's wrong but it still hurts me. It hurts so much to hear that I need to be fixed or that I'm going to hell. I've asked him before and said if his kid was trans, he wouldn't use his kids pronouncs or name if they were changed and he would point them to god. I hate it. It hurts me so much and I don't know what to do anymore. Sometimes he makes me feel like I should be ashamed of who I am and I need to hide it and that I should be fixed." -Abby
