" c'mon Ty, it's already 5:45 and you know longhorn is right there by that traffic light.." Don said, as I was stuffing my face with popcorn.

" okay, I'm hungry tho " I whined, while laying back in her bed.

" we are going to go eat " she said, in a duh tone.

" ughhh...... I don't feel like getting up " i, rolled my eyes at the thought of getting up .

At Longhorn, everyone sat an waited on me and Don at the table I reserved the night before. It was my mom, brother, little sister, dad, Cousin, aunt Kay, and of course me and Don, and mama Wright.

" can I start you all with something to drink? Or an appetizer ? " the waitress asked me.

" yes, can I get a sprite no ice and appetizer can I get spinach dip and chips please?" The waitress wrote my order down and proceeded to the next person.

I glanced over  as my mother continuously starred at me . Turning my head off, I just wanted to avoid looking at her.

" so why is this dinner so important ? " my mom asked, in a smart tone .

" I just wanted to see my family " I lied, as I forced a smile.

Before anyone could say anything else, the waitress came back with the drink and appetizer passing down to everyone .

" is anyone ready to order ?" She asked, making me nod my head as I grabbed a chip .

" I am "

I felt if there was all eyes on me .

" damn sis, Yeen een eat ya appetizer yet " Tyren scrunched his face up .

" right " Ka'runn,my fav cousin said .

" anyways, can I get a steak well done with Mac and cheese a house salad and loaded potatoes? Also can you put bacon bits , cheese and sour cream in my potato. One more thing, can I get a side of cheese to put in my Mac and cheese... also A1 sauce and a whole bunch of ranch " 

My family was token back by my order.

" damn girl, who you feeding an shelter ? " Tyren laughed.

" all that damn food " he added.

Don rolled her eyes making him scrunch his face up .

" I don't care..." he bucked at her, making her flinch .

" Youn scare me " she simply said.

" ain try too " he added.

" aye, what's going on between y'all two ? " mama asked, making me sip on my sprite .

" nah, people deciding too show they ass tonight " Tyren, said.

" watch yo mouth " My father said.

Tyren just blew his breath and shocked his head...

" these mf blowing me " he said, annoyed.

"Would you like to tell your family why you are really calling a family dinner ?" mama Wright said, making look confused at her.

How the fuck does she know....

" what do you mean ?" I asked, making like I was puzzled.

" Tyra, me and your mother aren't dumb.... we can smell it right in the air.... you can't hide from the truth baby " she explained.

My eyes began to water... this is where my life begins and ends.

" what do y'all smell ?" Tyren said, sniffing around .
