"Kelsey!" I was awaken by the yells from my mom.

"Kelsey! Get out here, quick!" I ignored her, again and again. I just wanted my sleep for goodness sake. It was a freaking Saturday!

I heard my room's door burst open and my mom dragged the covers off of me. "Wake up, you 'lil shit!"

The only respond I could ever give her was a groan. I groaned so loud at her, I probably sounded like a cow but whatever. I rubbed my eyes and covered my face with my palms, blocking out the sunlight after she pulled up my curtains. "What?!" I yelled at her, after she glared at me.

"Don't talk to me like that! We have a freaking appointment with an important client. Wake up, ass! Stop being so lazy!" She snapped. Oh wow, thanks a lot mother. You totally have no idea how hard I study everyday for you and dad and the fact that that makes everyone laugh at me makes me a loner in school. I'm constantly tired and I don't get a full day of sleep or being able to sleep in? I love you for that. Thank you so so much. I'm really grateful.

"Ugh," I dragged myself off the bed and walked past her to the bathroom, I didn't even care if I hit her in the shoulder. I took about twenty minutes to get myself ready: brush my teeth, shower, put on clothes and yeah. I don't put on makeup tho, like I'm a nerd and I know I am one but makeup makes me look horrible. I put on my big glasses and looked at myself once more in the mirror.

"Well, that's a good start to my Saturday, not," I let out another groan and pulled myself downstairs.

"Kelsey!" There she goes again. One moment, she could be all quiet and the next, she would be yelling at me. "Hurry up! We're already late!" She sounded like she was on the verge to explode and the thought of imagining her head actually exploded made me laugh.

She glared at me but I couldn't stop laughing. "What?" I finally asked, trying to catch my breath after two minutes of nonstop laughter.

"Forget it. Get in the car!" She sashayed off, grabbing her branded handbag along with her into the car.

"Who are you having an appointment with, mom? You barely have appointments on a Saturday," I questioned, raising my eyebrow at her as this question made me curious.

"I don't know. He works in some big company and his son goes to your school. I needed to interview him for the company I'm working for," She replied as she drove down the street and took a right turn out of the neighbourhood.

"Who is his son?" My curiosity was getting to me. None of the people in school had ever had their parents being interviewed by my mom even though some of them are really rich and sort of famous in town.

"I don't know. I guess you'll find out later," My mom looked at me for a moment and winked at me, before shifting her focus back to the road. I sighed and closed my eyes, wanting to sleep.

A moment later, I could feel the car coming to a stop. "We're here, honey," my mom said softly, soft enough for me to be able to hear. I took a look at the house and my jaw dropped in awe. It was really huge.

"Oh my gosh," I gulped. I was not ready to meet new and famous people like this. I get really nervous and my palms start to sweat. I didn't have trouble with this before, not until we moved here and I had to go to this new school called Seahawks High.

My mom pressed the doorbell and the gates opened. I slowly walked in, following behind my mom as I took in every plant and style of the house. Once we reached the doors which seemed like they were made of pure oak wood, it immediately opened and there stood a man in a really expensive suit.

"Mrs. Winslett, I suppose?" He asked while he fixed his navy blue coloured tie.

"Ah yes! Call me Karen," my mom flashed her signature smile which almost made me laugh at her, "Nice to finally be able to meet you, Mr. Smith. This is my daughter, Kelsey."

She nudged me lightly on my arm and I forced a smile out. "Uh, hi Mr. Smith. It's nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too, Kelsey! Why don't you both come in and take a seat?" He shook my hand and invited us in, walking over into the living room.

"Thank you," My mom replied before he left the room to grab something from his office. I was busy admiring the interior of the living room until the door creaked open and a boy walked in.

He was handsome, good looking, hot, I didn't know. He was drop dead.. just beautiful. I stared at him with wide eyes and he returned me with a glare. We both kept it that way until he narrowed his eyes and started to speak, "What's with you?"

"Uh.." I played with my fingers and looked at the ground.

"I'm talking to you, look at me," He said. It was more like a command rather than him just speaking to me now. I gulped and looked up, meeting his pair of wonderful yet beautiful blue eyes. It reminded me of the ocean, where everything is peaceful. I could picture myself on the beach, playing around as I looked deeply into his eyes. His eyes shined so impossibly blue under the light, that I wondered if he had his own sky inside of him causing it to be this blue.

"Hi," that was all I could manage to say.

Seriously? A good looking guy in front of you and you might have just blew your chance. Wait, they don't give people like you a chance.

"Look, I don't have time for your you-stare-at-me-I-stare-back-at-you game. Do you even know who I am?" He said, taking a step closer.

"N-n-no.."

"You have got to be kidding. Everyone in town knows me," he paused. "I'm Matthew Smith. I'm well-known in this town." He continued and laughed evilly.

"O-oh.. I'm Kelsey," I replied, trying to make a new friend I guess.

"So.. she speaks more than a word! I don't befriends with people like you! I'm done with this shit," He pushed past me and I stumbled a little, sighing deeply, wondering when the bullying will stop.

~

Matthew was really rude as he thinks he's the world's best dude alive but that was it, that was basically how I met him and how the town knows me as the girl who hadn't even heard of Matthew Smith himself. News do travel fast in a small town. Some people who lived out of town even knew. I wasn't ashamed of myself. I couldn't stand how he let a simple thing like this out. Maybe I could find a way to get him back.
