Takaki Yuya's Point Of View

"Hey. Yuya. Wake up!" I did not know how long have I slept but by the time I opened my eyes, Hikaru was shaking my shoulder - obviously trying to wake me up. I looked around and apparently we were the only one in the bus.

"Where is everyone?" I was half awake, rubbing my eyes and letting out a yawn. Just how long did I sleep?

"Everyone is already outside, waiting for us. Let's go." Hikaru beamed a huge smile as he gesture his hand to the door. "Come on!" he sounded rather excited,  kind of just like a little kid who just gotten an awesome toy. He dashed to the door, almost jumping with joy before calling out to me. "Come on, Yuya." I was rather reluctant to move, simply because I was too comfortable in my own spot.

Hikaru let out a sigh before rushing to me and dragged me outside. The moment my head peep out the bus, I was awestrucked.

What was in front of me stood there quite majestically and enchantingly. Despite the walls seems like it was rather old and a little deteriorating,  the old castle's beauty care not of age and time.

Yes.

What erected beautifully with gardens of flowers around it was an old castle. Not just any old castle. It was a castle with history and pasts. No castle this old yet enchanting magnificent

would not have any interesting background! I would love to know the story behind it. Who knows?  Maybe it holds the greatest stories and it have yet it be unfold by other people.

"Welcome to your new home. This is where you will live for this two weeks," the guide started talking when she saw me. "If you would be so kind, please follow me," she mused as she showed us the way in.

With no moment waste, she brought us to a large ballroom - an elegant one at that. There, at the center, stood a small table with ten different kind of keys laid on it. "Pick any keys you want and that key will be the key to your room."

"We get our own room? Sweet!" the twin brother gave a broad smile, quite happy with the arrangement. The sister however, looked a little bit scared.

I glanced at the keys and each of them looked rather different from one another. Before I could analyse them, the three girls swiped the one colored dark purple, sweet orange and navy blue. They were chattering of how colorful the keys were and would decide later which of them gets to take which.

The couple took the scarlet and pink colored keys - but does not looked quite trilled. They were mumbling something, which sounded like an argument.

The siblings took the golden and silver colored keys. I do not think it matters to them what kind of key they got. I bet they just took which ever was left behind.

Yamada, however, were whispering to himself - probably wondering which one he should pick. I glanced at the table and there were three keys left. The first one was black pit colored. And the other two was lilac white and gooey green. I wanted to see which one that oddball would pick when Hikaru blocked my view.

"Hei.Don't you think its weird that the keys have different colors? Do you think it have any meaning at all?" he whispered while his eyes glancing over the already taken keys. I let out an annoyed sigh, which apparently he failed to notice.

"I don't know. All of them seems the same with me. They're just keys," I lied, gently pushing his shoulder aside trying to see Yamada's choice. I was hoping to see Yamada still struggling with which one to pick but by that time, he had already chosen his key. While holding it in his grip, he pulled a satisfying yet terrifying smile. His eyes bolted as if enchanted by the key's beauty - I'm guessing.

"Come on. Pick your keys," the guide called me and Hikaru when she saw the two of us 'key-less'. With no hesitation,  Hikaru yelped an okay and grabbed the lilac white. With that, I was stuck with the gooey green key. After seeing no keys left on the table, the old lady - the guide - nodded with a smile. "Now that's done, I want to show you your room."

The first room she showed us was a very colorful room.  The room was filled with ocean theme. There were a cute whale doll siting on top of the bed, as if waiting for the owner of the room. "Whoever hold the navy blue key would have this room," when she announced this, one of the three girls squeal with arousing excitement.

"I get to have this cute room?" she  pointed at herself, at the same time pointing at her key.

"Yes, Momoko. This will be your room."

I took a glance at her nametag and saw Momoko Fujishiro was written in it. She was clampsing her finger with her friends, asking if she could really have the room.

"Now, please follow me to the next room," this time she showed a very elegant room - filled with vases of purple orchid and the wall was beautified with lavender wallpaper. Siting on top of the bed was a whole bunch of animal dolls. "And this room belongs to purple key holder."

"That would be me!"

I glanced at her as her nametag read Haruna Harada. I can tell how happy she was of getting the room. Even her friends started congratulating her.

"Now, to the next..," she showed us several rooms with colors that match the keys. A girl with the name Nanase Akihiro got a wonderful sweet orange room. There was even a bowl of oranges served on a coffee table.

The one who got scarlet key, Nakajima Yuto, got a room filled with vases of roses. There was even several petals scattered on his bed. He was not pleased with his choice. I think he regreted it.

His girlfriend, Hanazawa Ren, got quite a childish room. There were just too much pink in the room. What makes me almost bursting  with laughter was that there was a barbie doll siting on top of her bed. Just like Yuto, she was not pleased with it.

As for Yamada, what he got was quite normal per say. Which was odd since I consider him as the oddest ball in the group. I took a glance at him, wanting to see his expression but he looked as if he was not happy nor was he satisfied looking. I would say he was rather neutral with the choice he made.

Arioka Daiki, the twin brother, got quite an magestic room. Fit for a queen. Since he hold the golden key, he got a bed with transparent curtain around it. The carpet seems fluffy and soft - not did I get the chance to touch it. Everything about that room makes me feel like I am in a palace. Even so, it was fit more for a woman than him. Nevertheless,  he looked trilled. He said something about epic. The sister just gave out a small laugh.

Arioka Miaki got quite a royally room as well since she got the silver key. It was just that, the room was rather prince-y. She let out a sigh, I bet she had it coming since she saw her brother's room. Rather than complaining and unsatisfied with it, she accepted the fate she had. That was quite mature of her, I admit.

As for the flamboyant and chatter lad, he got a white colored room. There were vases of lilies - a lot of them. When he saw the flowers, he exclaimed that he loves lilies. I was not sure if he was just comforting himself or simply telling the truth.

Mine was the last one. When the lady showed me my room, I was quite shocked. It was because I expected something with slimy gooey goo since my key had that kind of color. To my suprise, it was quite decent. Nothing out of ordinary - which I am grateful for.

"Now that you have seen your room, let's move on to another."

"There's more?" Daiki spouted, sounding more amused than ever.

"Of course. Afterall, this castle IS enormous. There is more than just rooms," the guide gives out a smile - the kind of smile that hides something dark. At least to me, it looked like that.

I sure hope I was just imagining things..
