Takaki Yuya's Point Of View
The guide showed us the library - which was humangous! There were books everywhere! I do not know why I am this shocked. Afterall, we were in a castle.
She even showed us a special room, a dressing room I guess, since we were forbid to bring any clothing or whatsoever.
When I breezing through the clothing, there were a varieties of style. Apparently the one who created this program is extremely rich. Which I could already tell by the place we were staying.
There were a lot of rooms that the lady showed us - which only get amazing the more we go. There were several - which by time this is just a mere understatement - rooms were left unexplore. The guide lady told us that we would get to it a little sooner than we would think. I wonder what she meant by that.
"Okay. Are any of you hungry?" she asked, which was perfect because I could feel my stomach grumbling for food. "In here, you will have to cook by yourselves. There are ingredients, enough for a whole year. Just incase."
The more she goes on, the more I felt that something is wrong. Just what did she mean just incase?
"Hei. Can you cook? I bet the girls are great at it but sometimes we can't just judge a book by its cover, right?" Hikaru elbowed me while pulling that huge smile of his. I had no idea why he keep on picking on me. Of all nine people in this group, why me?
"I guess," I mumbled. My answer seems to peak his interest and his mouth just would not stop!
"Okay. My job here is done. I will take my leave. For now you rest all you want. You will start tomorrow," the guide mouthed as she poised to walk away.
Wait, did she just said that she was going to leave the ten of us in this castle? That does not make sense!
"Hei! Wait up!" I yelled at her, at the same time brushing Hikaru away. "What do you mean you're leaving? Just what kind of program is this?" I asked, kind of panic. I could not help it. I have been having bad feelings about this from the start - just what is going on?
"Do not worry. You will learn about this program soon enough," she uttered with a smile on her face.
" Yeah, chill bro. Don't sweat it," I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned my head to see Daiki standing behind me, giving me a warm smile. "I heard this program is gonna be fun," the way he said it was as if he was trying to comfort the scared me, which I hate to admit works. Plus the way he gave me a thumbs up was strangely soothing.
"If there is nothing else, I'll take my leave." Acting as if my freak out was nothing, she left us all by ourselves. Leaving only ten teenagers all by themselves in this gigantic old castle.
"Now, let's eat! I'm starving!" Daiki shouted with a smile as he skipped into the kitchen, dragging his sister along with him.
"Dude. You were a little scary just now. Are you fine?" this time it was Hikaru who tapped my shoulder.
"I'm fine," I brushed his hand off while trying to calm myself. Maybe my lack of sleep from the night before makes me hallucinate things.
"Come on. Let's eat. I bet you're as hungry as me," he took a head start after giving me a smack on my back. It really makes me wonder to just why this Hikaru guy is sticking to me like a gum. He just would not budge despite everything I did to him. Could he not take a hint?

The girls made such a mean dinner. Almost every and each of them had such wonderous cooking skills. Ren, Yuto's girlfriend, made an extraordinary curry which was extremely spicy. It was perfect since I love spicy foods. The twin sister, Miaki, made some vegetable soup which in my personal opinion was not bad. If only it was a little spicy, it would be perfect. The three friends, did the small but important jobs - cooking some rice and preparing the table.
We, the guys, wanted to help but apparently Momoko forbids us from entering the kitchen. She said something about us just geting in the way. We have it covered, she said.
It was perfectly fine with me. Though Daiki seem to be a little upset that he could not join the crowd. He was just probably worried about his sister - I'm guessing.
After eating the simple but scrumptious meal, Momoko told us to clean up. Saying something about they already did their share and it was our turn. I do not get her. A moment ago, she said she had it covered. And now she wanted us to do it. Confusing girl is just too confusing.
That is how I ended up washing dishes - stuck with both Daiki and Yamada. The other two were cleaning out the table.
Hmm... now that I think of it, everyone work together with no problems at all. Not one complained or refuse to do the things they were told. In a way, this is not half as bad as I think. Sure it feels weird but I am not complaining about it.
"I'll finish up. You guys can go to your room and rest," Daiki flashed one of his sweet smile to us, while giving a thumbs up - covered with bubbles.
"If that so," Yamada muttered as he washed his hand and left. That was quite blunt of him.
"THANK YOOU, DAIKI!" Hikaru sang as he jumped and hopped away like a rabbit. As for Yuto, he did not speak a word. All he did was he gave a thank-you bow and left.
"You can wash up and go freshen yourself. I can do this by myself, " Daiki mused with that unwilting smile of his. I stared at him for quite a while before I continue washing the dishes.
"It's fine. I'll accompany you." I did not know how Daiki reacted to my response because I was not looking at him. I turned my focus to the dirty dishes in front of me.
It took us a couple of minutes before finishing up. After that I said my bid to Daiki and went up to my room.
I lay down my bed, staring right up at the ceilling. So far, the day was not as bad as I thought it would be. It was just that it felt weird. I just could not shake it but I can tell there is something wrong.
Before I knew it, I drifted into a deep slumber...
