It's Valentine's day.Kanan and Hera just got engaged, and Ezra has his own plan to have a good time with Sabine. Enjoy the reading!

Ezra was in his cabin on the top bunk, the one he had been assigned when he arrived. He remembered that Kanan had told Zeb then that it would only be temporary, but now it was clear that Ezra and Zeb would be sharing their cabin all the time. Anyway, there was nowhere else in the Ghost where he could sleep, even if Sabine's cabin was the largest, there would logically be more room for two people...*Sabine* he thought. Ezra had to go and talk to her, ask her about the picnic, it was now or never. Why was he so stressed at the thought? He was just going to ask her to have a  f-r-i-e-n-d-s  moment together and nothing more! *Karabast, get a grip, you're a Jedi dude*  The teenager stood up and climbed down, or jumped to be more exact, from the bunk. He knew that Zeb had gone into town to pick up a some stuff to celebrate the bride and groom with Chopper, and that the two lovers had gone for a walk in the plains of Lothal. This meant that only Ezra and Sabine were left in the ship, which made Ezra even more nervous. But the joy he felt from the betrothal made his nervousness go away completely, and it even made him a little ecxious, or should we say very ecxious. " Kanan and Hera are getting married! A little child soon?! Would Kanan let me be the master of his child if he -or her, maybe a girl hiyaaa- is a carrier of the force? Héhé, I'm so impatient about this"

Sabine was resuming her painting, interrupted by this happy event. She was smiling in spite of herself, happy that her space parents were finally admitting their eternal love. She was surprised by two knocks on her door. "Who is it?" She asked the question mechanically, because she knew it was Ezra, she would recognize him for sure."Your favorite Jedi milady" she rolled her eyes, despite the fact that her heart was beating faster, as it always did... As soon as the door was opened, she saw an Ezra smiling with all his teeth. He almost jumped on her "Sabiiiine! Did you see that! Waouh! I'm so excited about this weddiiing!" Sabine couldn't help but smile back "Oh! You? Ecxited?" she replied wryly, "because you look so sad jumping around like a rabid Loth-Cat" Ezra's turn to roll his eyes "Roh, relax, don't tell me you're not as excited as me, you just don't show it" his reply earned him a blow in the shoulder. "It's true, for once you're right," she said, smiling. Ezra massaged her shoulder, the mandalorian didn't lose her strength... "Do you paint?" Ezra asked, then immediately after *Sure what question, no no, she's playing sabbac, silly* She nodded and moved to show him her painting: Loth Cats running through the plains of Lothal. Ezra opened his eyes wide in surprise "You painting Loth Cats now?" She looked at him with a haughty look "Do you mind if I find them cute? I'm trying to paint what I think is beautiful" It was then that Ezra had an idea *Loth Cats! Absolutly! They were the final thing I needed! he quickly came back to his senses "Then I should be the one in your painting Sab'" he replied with a smirk. "Pff, in your dreams Ez'" The Lothalian squinted "Oh yeah? How about I give you the best picnic of your life, one you'll never forget, you paint me in return?" She squinted too as she moved closer "Deal," she said, "you're offering this as a date?" Ezra smiled wider "Yep, tonight at sunset, get ready Sab'" Sabine shook her head laughing "I'll be there, don't keep me waiting Ez'" Ezra got out of the booth "Never Milady"

He walked back to the Ghost's cargo bay, thinking about what had just happened. It wasn't what he'd planned, but for once his improvisation had worked. * I have my first date with Sabine. Tonight. This. Evening.* He quickly looked at the time on his comlink. 6:34 pm.He knew the time of sunrise and sunset on Lothal easily. There were no seasons here, the planet was perfectly tilted on an axis parallel to its sun, which meant that nightfall was at 7:48 pm all year round. Easy to remember. Ezra had just over an hour to do everything, which was enough. He took the baskets Hera had prepared long ago (there was everything on this ship, even a picnic set, Ezra could use that, right?) and took them to a hill where the sunset would be beautiful. He then brought the bags of food he had prepared that morning, and put them down with the rest. He prepared everything, and as soon as he had finished, the sky gradually darkened. "Now, just the final thing" he murmured, a smile on his face. He stood up and held out his arm with his eyes closed. Suddenly the tall grass rustled, and out came two cute little Loth Cats. They rubbed against the boy's legs, purring. "Go get me Sabine, okay?" he asked, petting them. The two furballs trotted off towards the ship, guided by Ezra through the force.

Sabine was getting ready in her room. She had exchanged her armour for the clothes of citizens. She was putting on her shoes when she heard unusual noises at her door. Intrigued, she opened it, discovering two Loth Cats. "What are you doing here? Unless... Ezra sent you, didn't he?" she smiled "He doesn't do things by halves, anyway" She took the youngest in her arms while the second one showed her the way. As she reached the top of a hill, the animal she was holding escaped, and ran towards a silouhette that stood out in the orange glow of the evening.

Hehee, I don't know if I finish here, what do you think about it? I have an idea of what to put in the next chapter, but this story might end here, you tell me yes or not.
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed it, may the force be with you!
