My best friend, Ketsu

So, this is a little one shot that take place in the 8th episode of season 2 (like the picture above), when Ketsu told Ezra she know "all about him" 😏😏 Enjoy !! Ezra approached Sabine and Ketsu as soon as Hera had finished talking to them. "I'm Ezra, we almost blasted each other earlier!" he said to the purple eyes girl. "I know who you are" she replied, smirking "Sabine told me all about you..." Ezra was confused "She did ?! Well, uhh, what hum, what she said? I mean... it was all good, right...?" The two girls looked at each other.

"Ezra, can I get a moment here?" tried Sabine. "Sure!" There was a hushed silence "Oh! Uh, you mean you two! Uh, a moment? Ahah... Right, hum I'll just be over there" he says, but thinking in his head *awkward, awkward, aaawwkawaard, I'm awkard* 

Ketsu watched him go, not being able to stop herself from put on a big evil smile, thinking that Sabine should once again found him cute because he was embarrassed, and she thought back to the moment when Sabine had told her everything...

*F L A S H   B A C K*

After the two girls have bring the power droïd to the rebel base, they entered the ship, exhausted but happy: the two best friends, we can already say heart sisters, have been reunited.

Sabine was the first to talk : "I have so much to tell you! And you should have too, no?" Ketsu smiled "Ohhh yeah... But you first my dear" they laughed. "Ok, ok ... sooo"

Sabine told everything since the two girls had separated, fortunately the journey was long. She told about her first steps as a member of the Ghost crew. "Then one day, on a mission on Lothal, we met Ezra" she said without being able to hide a smile. Ketsu squinted *oh interesting* she thought, "Our mission was to take supplies from the empire and give them to people in need, and while it was successful, a young loth-rat stole one of the crates... Because of him, the empire ended up catching up to us, and the troopers were going to go after the boy, but Kanan was too kind and helped him by taking him on the ship." Ketsu replied "A good thing then, right? Without that you wouldn't have known him. And, you wouldn't smile like that when you talk about him" Sabine laughed "Ohhh, at first I didn't really like him" she said. "Really ?" Kestu found the story more and more interesting. "He lived on the streets since he was 7 years old, so he was the kind of little brat who steals and doesn't trust anyone, lives only for himself" Ketsu nodded "Andddd let's say he was trying to flirt with me, let's also say it wasn't very conclusive. You know me, the kind of thing I really don't like; so yeah, he was just the boy from lothal, no more" She took a deep breath, "But through talking to him and living with him, I came to understand that he was like me: without family, but with a big heart and a lot of maturity, at least when he wanted it." she laughed "Now he is part of the team and I can't see the Ghost crew without him".

Ketsu cut her off, straight and direct as usual "And now you have a crush on hiiiimm" Sabine turned red "No! Ketsu! come on, he's like my brother!" ketsu smiled devilishly "Ohhh, yes it's obvious now, of course you consider him ONLY as your brother... Come on Sabine, even I noticed it, is he at least handsome that Ezra?"

Suddenly, Sabine questioned herself *what if she was right?* "Ketsu, really, do you think I crush on him?" Now it was Ketsu's turn to be confused "What, you didn't notice it yourself? Sabine, open up a little more you know, it's obvious that you like him a little more than you say" Sabine blushed even more and her friend laughed "Take your time little sister, you'll tell me who he is right, I want to see him!" Sabine shook her head "Oh, but you have seen him! He's the one who was with me when you almost killed me!" she said, sarcastically "But you'll be able to see him again as soon as we get to the base, don't worry" The two girls smiled at each other and hugged.

*E N D   O F   T H E   F L A S H   B A C K*

Kestu snapped out of her thought. "Ohohohhhh! Your buddy is so cute! Look at how embarrassed he is! Oh my God, Sabine, you two must be something !" Sabine rolled her eyes "Come on, stop, if I asked him to leave, it's because you haven't told me anything about what happened to you since we separated! I want to know everything!"

And the two girls went back to another discussion; but Ketsu made a promise to herself: Sabine would have to date Ezra, maybe not now, but she was sure that he was her soul mate...
