I walked the uneven cobblestone streets of the lively city. The longer I walked through the city, the more I noticed how empty the streets were starting to become. I squinted my eyes when a loud whistle was heard. I looked to my right to find a legion of people entering the Quarter. Vampires. Marcel Gerard's army. "Well, this should be interesting." I voiced leaning against a light pole. Marcel was interrogating a witch named Jane-Anne Deveraux for the use of magic. I squinted my eyes again before losing interest and walking away. "Going somewhere?" A man called out. "Home." I answered walking away. A vampire appeared in front of me. "I don't think so." He stated stopping me. I scoffed. I grabbed his hand before breaking his wrist and snapping his neck. "I hate vampires." I muttered walking away before disappearing into the night.

HOURS LATER

I walked to the large compound building as I materialized from the water of the swimming pool. "I love being a god." I said walking into the living area. "Naeco. God of the Oceans, Seas, and Storms. It's been a while." A woman announced. I turned to see a woman sitting in my living room in the dark. "You said that like it explains why there's a total stranger sitting in the dark in my second favorite chair." I explained. "Forgotten me so easily, have you?" The woman asked as she snapped her fingers and the lights came on. "Amara." I voiced. "Hello...big brother. We need to talk." She told me. I watched her walk passed me.

My younger sister was very beautiful. She made it known to everyone who gazed upon her. Amara was Goddess of Light, Beauty, and Love. She was both the light of the Sun and the light of the Moon. She was definition of beauty and the personification of love. She was my little sister and I would do anything for her. I let out a sigh. "What is it this time, Amara?" I asked turning around as she helped herself to a glass of whiskey. "It's father." She said bluntly. "What about him?" I questioned. "He has escaped." She answered. "What do you mean, "He escaped"?" I asked. "I mean just that, brother. Our father has found a way to escape the deepest part of Hell and the Underworld." She explained. "How is that possible? There's no way that could've happened. I made sure of it." I stated. "Well...you and I both know how smart and resourceful the genocidal maniac is. He'll do just about anything to ensure his survival. So how are we to know if he didn't put in some failsafe." She explained downing the alcohol.

"Failsafe? You're saying our father secretly built a way of escape if he was ever imprisoned?" I inquired. "Precisely." She voiced. "Where is he now?" I asked. "No one knows...but remember the prophecy?" She asked. "That's just a story that mother used to scare us when we were children." I explained. "Don't take me for a fool, Naeco. I know you believe it is true, just as I do. And if we don't find father and stop him...the prophecy will unfold." She explained. "And I know the prophecy is exactly why you are here in this drunkard-filled city of New Orleans. You're keeping an eye on the one that will start it all." She explained stepping closer to me looking in my eyes. "What are you talking about?" I asked. "I know you know what I'm talking about. Marcellus Gerard, his pitiful army of undead leeches, and the witches." She voiced. "And now with the arrival of the catalysts...It's only a matter of time before it starts to unfold." She added. "Catalysts? What are you talking about? What catalysts?" I asked. "Isn't it obvious? The Original Hybrid...and the werewolf." She answered. I furrowed my brows. "Klaus Mikaelson and Hayley Marshall." She added.
