After that whole conversation Steve came up to her. Telling her how they was going to destroy HYDRA that was the people that took my brother and 107. Mabel hated that idea because they could get hurt. Or  worst killed she just got them both back now they was on a suicide mission! As again didn't want her to go with them so she had to stay back.

(You guys know the whole they went there was fighting on the trains Bucky fall off and died  well yeah I'm just you know lazy)

Steve was in the bar with his team mouring Bucky. When they door swang open May heard what happened to her brother and was in pain. She lost her only last piece of her family. She had none. As she walked in the bar looking for Steve she found him on a table with now but himself.

Mabel: " how did it happen how did he!-

Steve just looked over to see May balling her eyes they was red and puffy looks like she's been crying for hours she was angry and upset . She got promised by Steve he wouldn't let anything happen to James but he died. She wanted to blame him.

Mabel: " this is- this is your fault you promised me you both was going to be okay! But now.. NOW  MY BROTHER IS DEAD BECAUSE OF YOU WHATS THE POINT IN BEING A SUPER SOLIDER IF YOU CANT KEEP YOUR OWN BEST-FRIEND ALIVE!"

She shouted at him whilst he wasn't paying attention because they was all mourning someone in there own way either drinking a lot smoking a lot or just sat there thinking. May was more of the shouting let all the anger and pain out type of girl. Steve just sat there tears dripping down his face. May just left and didn't speak to Steve in a while until 1945. Steve's airplane was going to crash into the Arctic. May got called in the talk to Steve because he asked for her. He knew he was about to die so he wanted his last words with the women he loved. She was shaking and upset still mourning over her brother no most likely now her lover.

Mabel: " Steve?! Steve ! Can you hear me"

Steve: " May is that you?"

Mabel: " it's me Steve it's me I'm here"

Steve was so happy to hear here after so long.

Mabel: " I'll give you coordinates to have a safe landing"

Steve: " there's not time I have to put her in the water"

Mabel: " what no are you crazy no your going to come back to me alive I can't loose you to!"

Steve: " it's okay my love I still owe you a dance"

Mabel: " how about next week 8 o'clock no
later okay?" I still need to apologise for what I said I was just mad I-

Steve: " - don't it's okay you had to have someone to blame"

Steve's line cut out just now was ascetic. She couldn't hear Steve anymore and Steve couldn't hear her.  Tears dripping down her face not only did she loose her brother not long and how she lost her love of her life and never told him she loved him.

Mabel: " Steve?"

Steve was now flying the plan into the water holding a picture of Mabel in a pocket watch but don't work so he put a picture of her in as he traced his thumb on them picture of her tears  started to form. He knew he wouldn't have given her that dance.
