Steve Rogers And Mabel Barnes| Past Lovers x

It's been a week now and Mabel has barely left her house. She mostly just sits in silence on her bed or sofa with a picture or Bucky and Steve not only did she loose her brother she lost her lover aswell. Her friend Peggy( was friends with Steve to) has been coming over regularly to check up on Mabel and spent time with her. After a lot of thinking Mabel is going to talk to Howard on how there going with the investigation. Mabel wanted to find Steve. His body or what's left of him. But they had not luck. Whilst walking to Howard she was getting overwhelmed over this is and stoped and sat down on the nearest bench.

Calm down Maybel it's going to be okay you can do this

She kept repeating to herself. She stood back up and continued to walk. She opened the door to Howard's office and took a deep breath.

M:" Howard I want it I'm positive"

H: " are you sure because if so there's no Turing back"

M:" I'm sure Howard I want to find the people. And kill them. I want to finish the mission Steve was on before he died"

H: " that's a bad idea may, you are like a sister to me my best friend i can't let you get yourself killed like that"

M:" please Howard I need this"

H: " fine but I have someone on the news that wants to interview you first about Bucky and Steve it's okay if you do want to but it's best for you to do this especially if you want to be a super solider"

M: "okay thank you Howard"

H: " no worries as long as you happy I'm happy just please don't get yourself killed I don't want that for you because if you loose control I'll have to do something"

M:" I know and I won't I'm going to the interview now goodbye"

H: " goodbye may meet me in the lab in 3 hours then we will start"

M: "okay thankyou"

Howard just nooded and smiled at her before walking back out the door. Mabel took a deep breath and called a taxi over to take her to the interview. Once arrive she was swamped with reporters. Along stuff like, who was Steve to you or how did he die, did you love him, who's Bucky ect she hated it just get this over and done with she said. She asked into the building and sat down.

Nr: " hello Mabel Barnes great to see you here how are you"

M: " been better can we just get started?"

Nr: " of course okay first question, who was Bucky to you?"

D: " my older brother, 2 ish years older to be exept"

Nr: " and we heard he died how did he die? If so how and when?"

D: " yes he did die he died the same year Steve did"

Nr: " Steve... ah Steven grant Rogers did you know him?"

D: " yes yes I did he was my husband... we never got married or engaged but we would talk about a future together a lot so I would think of him as my husband he was the love of my life for years before we got together"

Nr: " I'm sorry for both of your looses do you have any family your staying with a the moment"

D: " no just myself my friend Peggy comes round a lot to see me though"

Nr: " Okay thank you can you tell me the last moment you had with Steven"

D: " I was at home before I got a call telling me I had to run here as fast as I can because Steve's plane was going down, I ran there as soon as I could, and he basically told me it was going down I told him I could find a safe landing, he promised to take me dancing... we was suppose to dance the week coming... but we never did"

Nr: " I'm so sorry for all of that you can go
now"

D: " okay thanks"
