Light panic, it was almost too late, too late to save him. They both know they can't do much now, not without causing him pain. Light faintly heard Shadow Sabre said that there isn't much they could do to save him. Except, to allowed him to go quietly. Peacefully. That simply made Light feel more upset. He couldn't let go, not yet.
How can he let him go? He was one of the few that still believed in Sabre when things were harsh...
Shadow Sabre can see how much it pains Light to lose Sabre, it pains him as well, but he knew this event shouldn't have happened.
Events that temporarily stopped the story that goes on repeat for so long, it was wrong. Everything was wrong. Sabre wasn't meant to end up in such a state he's in now. Shadow Sabre wasn't meant to be free as he is now. They could have been dealing with conflicts that didn't started. Light wouldn't be emotionally hurt now.
Everything that have been happening, shouldn't have happened.
What even is this anymore?
Are they just merely puppets to a storyteller?
A storyteller that finds there pain amusing? Hurtful? Relatable? Entertaining?
They weren't sure no more. They need to do something now. Despite it feeling like it was too late. They still needed to do something. Anything. What can they do now though? They were unsure. They had to do something, right? Light look at Sabre- Purity fading form. From the way he's fading, he's being drained.
Drained of what?
Spiritual energy, is what he can guess. He looks at Shadow Sabre- who confirms Light Thought with a nod. He knows to, but could not do anything about it really. Not with how little they know and how late they were to really save him...
Wait.
There was something going on, something that was happening before the event with Sabre.
Something to do with a certain Yellow Steve...
*
Sol laughed, he have a feeling that Light Steve and someone else had figured out something about him, he's not surprised. He's aware, yet, not aware of the things that goes around them. The aching memories of what felt like a past life. He knows what to do now.
To bring back the proper flow of this world.
To break the orb, would mean his upper chance of overthrowing the whole kingdom to chaos would be lost, yet, does he care? No. Would destroying the realm be worth it? Of course not. The realm is slowly collapsing after all. He rather fight in a world where it's not collapsing. Where's the fun in it if there was nothing?
Absolutely nothing. Seeing as all would have been destroyed and what not.
So. Why not just, speed up the process?
Sol picked up the orb and...
Simply dropped it. Letting it shattered to nothing, but dust. The energy trapped within it, vanishing completely.
It's Too Late. Is it not?
