The next morning was a blur for me and it wasn't long before I was at Beacon Hills High School. I still had the heavy feeling of detachment hanging over my shoulders. Kind of like I am an interloper here in some way.

I meet Jackson at the front of the school building since I literally have no clue where my locker is at or how to get around the place.

"Lydia." He greets me calmly as we walk in, side by side. "I have Lacrosse try outs today. How about you come with?"

Biting my lip I nod my head in agreement, but I stiffen slightly when his hand wraps around mine. Walking in beside him. "Maybe meeting other people will help your memories come back.

"Lydia." I hear behind me, as I turn my head I see Stiles from the show.

"Stiles right?" I ask as I turn slightly, causing Jackson to stop walking any farther. His face holds a small level of annoyance.

"Yeah. My dad and I found you the other night. Are you alright?" He asks me as he looks me over, in a way he seemed a little nervous.

With the way his grip tightens I realize that he must be feeling impatient right now. Glancing back at him I shrug his hand off of me. "You can go ahead Jackson. I'm sure Stiles won't mind walking me to the Lacrosse field."

"Of course I won't mind." Stiles says as he looks at me and then at Jackson. "If that's alright..."

Jackson scoffs and rolls his eyes, his hand lands on my shoulder and I glance up at him. "You sure Lydia? The guys a dweb."

"It's fine. Thanks for trying to look out for me." I comment lightly.

He sighs and then glances around. "Where is McCall?"

"In the locker room I think." Stiles says causing Jackson to nod sharply and walk away. Once he's out of ear shot Stiles looks at me again. "He's such an ass. Hey.. Lydia, what happened to your neck?"

Touching my neck I glance away, shifting on my feet uncomfortably. Definitely not something I can talk about. "I don't know."

Suddenly he's beside me causing me to take a step back, accidentally tripping on the step when he catches my arms and pulls me back up. My breathing is heavy as I glance down and go to pull my arms away, his hand tightens for a second before he lets go, his hands up in the air.

"Sorry." He mutters with a small sheepish grin before his features turn concerned. "I didn't mean to scare you. I was just trying to look at your neck. My dad was all worried you know? A car was stolen not far from your place and a store in town was broken into where some men's clothes were stolen."

"And the finger prints?"

"Not in the database at all." Stiles says with a frown. "Dad says that it's really suspicious and the guy seems to be kind of like a ghost. They have a picture from one of the cameras at the store but.. well it's really blurry."

I nod my head as we begin to walk into the school. A dark haired girl is walk along the halls, stopping in front of us looking a bit unsure of herself. "Do you know where the Lacrosse field is? I was told it's fun to watch?"

"That's where we're going." Stiles says pleasantly, then asks politely. "You're Allison right?"

"Yeah." She says with a small smile. "My first day was yesterday." Then she glances at me a moment. "I don't recognize you though."

Looking at the ground I nod my head feeling really out of place. "Uh, I was kept home yesterday."

"She was attacked." Stiles says bluntly, his voice sounding a bit pained. "My dad found her last night, almost ran her over."
