CHAPTER SEVEN
007.

     "HONJO!" MAYUKO suddenly awakens and Hiro immediately goes to her side. "Mayuko? Do you know where Yuri is?" He asked and Mayuko looks around, seeing Sniper Mask and Kuon. "What is he doing here?!" She exclaimed at the sight of the Mask and Hiro quickly stood in front of him.

"Mayuko, he's fine... d-don't... I promise he won't hurt you. Or Yuri. Okay?" He smiled softly and Mayuko just kept glaring up at him sternly. Hiro sighs, "I'd never... put my cousin's life in danger or yours. So, you guys are safe, you know? He's safe." He pointed to Sniper Mask and the man nods.

"So... where is she?" She asked and Hiro sighs. "We don't know... I'm guessing you went into Hibernation and she... went off to probably find a way to help you." He says and she looks at him. "Do you... have your phone on you?" She ties up her hair in a ponytail and he nodded his head quickly.

Reaching into his backpack, he takes out a black phone which she takes before they head into the hallway where she makes her phone call, dialing her phone number.

"Yes, it's me. No, I'm not lying. This is really... Mayuko Nise." She says into the phone as Hiro stands with Sniper Mask, playing with the hem of his hoodie. "So, Honjo, where are you right now? Don't tell me you advanced without me." Mayuko turns the other way, making Hiro wonder what Yuri had said.

"Thank you, Honjo. I wouldn't call it... a coincidence, per se. But I was saved by a God Candidate who happened to pass by... and also happened to be your cousin." Mayuko turns around, smiling at Hiro who smiled back right away, perking his head up.

Sniper Mask stares at him as Mayuko continues on with the call with Yuri. "You're a good cousin to her, you know..." Sniper Mask suddenly whispers and Hiro looks back at him, seeing those grey eyes looking back at him. "Honjo, I want you to come back here. Besides your cousin and the other God Candidate, we've got another situation here." Mayuko spoke into Hiro's cellphone.

Mayuko turns around so Hiro walks over to her, holding out his hand for his phone to be given back. "I thank you for bringing me back, Tanaka... I've confirmed that they're not enemies either. But that's still not enough for them to win my trust." She glanced over at Sniper Mask and Kuon behind Hiro. "They're okay, Nise." Hiro whispers and Mayuko just glances at him for a second before looking back over at Sniper Mask and Kuon.

"Tell me everything in detail while we wait for Honjo..." Mayuko says before beginning to lead the way towards a room where they can all sit down and have a talk together.

Sniper Mask and Hiro mostly explained everything then Hiro pointed at the man beside him. "He knows my other cousin, Rika." He says and Sniper Mask glanced at him. "Rika Honjo. So that's his name... Hmm, I can't remember too clearly but what a name." He says, smoking a damn cigarette yet again. Mayuko sets down a cell phone.

"Sniper, if you're that curious, why don't you give him a call?" She says and Sniper Mask gets flustered. "What? No, I..." He takes out his cigarette as Hiro glanced at him. How cute. "Well, as long as we're both alive, we'll meet again eventually." He says as he looks out the window and Hiro leans over.

"That woman who was after me? No longer a problem, Mayu." He says, dusting off his pants softly before glancing at her. "Do you want a new... shirt? Since yours is all... torn?" He asked out of curiosity and she considered it. "That'd... be nice, thanks." She got up and he reached into his backpack.

She heads into the bathroom, holding the t-shirt he's been keeping for a while. "You had that this whole time and I just ended up giving you one of my shirts?" Sniper Mask looked at Hiro who sighs. "I literally forgot I had it, okay? I was a little woozy, losing all that blood." He shrugged.
