[𝐘/𝐍] 𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐖𝐍𝐄𝐃, 𝐆𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐈𝐍𝐆 at Morro and Wu a few meters away, watching as Morro furrowed his eyebrows in concentration for a moment before drawing his hands back and pushing them away from him in a sideways motion.
A small gust of wind appeared from his hands, hitting the dummy in front of him and making it topple slightly.
Morro then beamed brightly at his accomplishment, looking to his teacher who smiled and praised him for his efforts.
The [e/c]-eyed 11-year-old watched the exchange before turning back to face their teacher, their older brother, and sighing. "Why can't I just use my powers like Morro instead of just sitting here?" They whined. "You're not even a real Sensei, y'know. You're only like four years older!"
Liam raised an eyebrow. "You can't use Whisp without your bonded jade weapon anyways." He then pointed to his twin jade daggers in emphasis, which sat snugly in his left leg holster. "And I have these. You don't."
[y/n]'s brows furrowed even further. "Then what's the point of my power without a stupid jade thing?"
The [h/c]-haired boy sighed, sitting down and gesturing for his younger sibling to follow. "Close your eyes. What do you see?"
"Uh. . . nothing? I'm closing my eyes."
He ignored their last remark. "Now focus on my presence with your eyes still closed. What do you see now?"
Liam watched the younger of the two closely, watching as their face lit up in surprise. "There's a light-blue. . . fire? It's kind of big." Their expression then morphed into one of confusion. "What is it?"
"That's my Whisp. Every living thing has it. Plants, animals, other people,. . . you name it. Your Whisp is kind of like your mental and spiritual energy.
Normally, you wouldn't be able to control or interact with it in any way, but us Masters of Whisp can." He then pulled out one of his jade daggers, unbeknownst to [y/n], and it glowed a pale green before emitting a small white blast which shot in the sky and dissolved.
Liam returned his gaze to his sibling, who still had their eyes closed. "Any change?"
"It's. . . dimmer? Like it lost a tiny bit of itself."
He smiled. "Exactly. I used a little bit of my Whisp which is why you see that. I can always return it back to normal by taking some Whisp out of something else or sleeping. Elemental masters usually have a different color of Whisp that matches their element while normal living things have a small dull grey Whisp."
[y/n] turned towards where Morro and Wu were with their eyes still closed. "Sensei Wu's Whisp is gold. It's pretty." At the mention of his name, the man directed his attention towards [y/n] which prompted Morro to do the same, a curious look in his dark pine eyes.
[y/n] continued. "Morro's is a dark green with a little silver." Said boy perked up at his name, not knowing what his friend was talking about but wanting to know anyways. "His Whisp. It's. . ." they paused, seemingly at a loss of words.
