its my first ff so i apologize...
the pack's alpha, jeon gong-yoo, was sitting in his office signing some papers and answering phone calls. the room was quiet just the way he liked it but that silence never lasts long. he was brought away from his work when he heard a knock on his door.
"come in" he said blankly.
one of his men, jackson, slowly opened the door. the alpha walked more into the room and bowed his head in respect. "alpha" jackson greeted. he was one of his most trusted men in the pack along with a few others. jackson was a very hyper and energetic person. anyone would love to be around him. he was funny, always cracking jokes and undeniably handsome. but when things got serious he was quick to stop his jokes and get professional. that's what the head alpha liked about him.
"yes jackson, is anything wrong?" he asked. he could sense the worry in the other's scent. the younger alpha looked up with worried filled eyes. "alpha, hoseok has been missing for two days." he stated. the head alphas eyes widened in confusion and shock. "he still hasn't returned from patrol?" he asked.
"no alpha, his patrol hours have been over and he's still not back yet. this is very unlike him. i know he likes to be back here in the pack house as soon as his hours are up." jackson stated again. the head alpha let out a long sigh and put his pen he was using down on his desk. "okay" he started, "take namjoon with you and search for any sign of him along the borders." hoseok was also another of his trusted men. the alpha was a literal ball of sunshine and could make anyone crack a smile with his heart-shaped one. having a bad day? just talking to hoseok would make you feel better. he loved being at the pack house and socializing with everyone.
so him going missing was a bit odd. he knew something was wrong.
"yes alpha." jackson answered.
"let me know if you find anything. you're dismissed." gong-yoo finished.
at that the younger alpha bowed and walked out closing the door behind him, then began walking to namjoon's room to inform him of the head alphas instructions.
"joon!" jackson said as he opened the door to one of his best friends rooms. "dammit jackson, do you not know how to knock?!" namjoon yelled back frustratedly. he looked like he just got out of the shower. his blond hair half wet still in the drying process, white towel over his bare shoulders that had some water dripping down his muscular arms and torso from his hair being wet, and grey sweats on his legs hiding his strong, thick thighs that everyone in the pack knew he had. all in all, you can say he looked fucking delicious.
"mm, maybe i don't" jackson joked causing namjoon to scowl.
"oh yeah? well fucking learn." the the blond haired said back.
"yeah whatever anyways, your dad gave us an order so get dressed." he replies
namjoon turned around fully, hair now fully dry. "what is it?" he asked semi annoyed.
jackson's smile faltered a little and said "we're going to look for hoseok."
namjoon paused what he was doing for a moment looking straight into one of his best friends' eyes. he nodded " ok, let me get changed. when are we heading out ?" he asked. jackson looked at his watch on his wrist then looked back up.
"as soon as you're finished." he answered. the other nodded and walked over to his walk-in closet to find something to wear.

the two alphas walked along the border, trying to find anything they think could be linked to their best friend. as they were walking namjoon picked up a scent that smelled an awful lot like hoseok's. he turn and saw that jackson must have smelled the same thing. he could tell by the way his eyes widened and his nose twitched. "you smell that too right?" jackson asked looking in the direction it was coming from.
"absolutely." the blond haired answered.
without saying much both males sped walked in the direction they smelled the scent.
"wait." namjoon said stopped the other in his tracks. jackson looked up at him confused. "what?" he asked.
namjoon looked at him and sighed. "if we walk any further we'll be outside of the borders." he answered. the other looked straight ahead and cursed under his breath and ran his hand through his brown hair. "what should we do, joon?" he asked, looking unsure. namjoon went silent. he didn't fucking know. he didn't want to risk crossing the border but then again this is his best friend they're looking for. "fuck it." he muttered and walked forward crossing the borders of the pack. jackson following behind him.
as they continued walking the scent of sweet oranges got stronger and stronger and soon they came to a stop. the area had trees all around and a few large stones on the ground. but what caught the blonde's eyes first was the pool of blood on the ground not too far away from one of the stones. he sucked in a breath at the sight.
"jackson." he called and pointed to the puddle. said boy turned his head and his eyes widened. "is that...?" the brown haired male asked. both males walked slowly over to the spot. they scanned over the area slowly.
"this is his blood jackson." namjoon stated frown on his his face.
"w-what ? it can't be. maybe it's someone else's. maybe-" he was cut off by the other before he could finish.
"jackson, this area reeks of his scent. plus-" he stopped to crouch down and pick up a black string braided bracelet with a silver wolf charm hanging from it. "this is his bracelet." he said sadly. the other male let out a shaky sigh. "shit." he said.
"joon we have to find him." jackson said with sad eyes. namjoon looked into his eyes and ran his hand through his hair. "i know, and we're going to." he said, determined and quenched his fists tightly.
"i promise."

(a/n): *peeks up from hiding spot* aha...hi...yeah im back? yeah yeah, i know i've been gone for a little while..ok maybe longer then a little but im here now ok? i told y'all i'm probably not going to be updating frequently but i actually want to write right now so i might be updating more. *whispers* no promises. buuuut anywayss, you guys have unlocked two new characters :)
