as soon as yoongi walked in the room, a sweet orange scent hit his nose. it was so overwhelming, so intoxicating, so addicting. he wanted to smell this scent all day. but where? where was it coming from? his eyes began to search the unknown room, looking for the sources of that scent. finally he saw him. sitting on the hospital bed was the most handsome person he's ever seen. almond eyes, dark black hair, plump pink lips. he was a work of art.

he could feel it. that pull that forced him to move closer. that invisible string pulling them together. this...this feeling of want, longing for the other. he knew. he knew what this person was to him. what they were to each other. this person in front of him was his...

"mate." they both said at the same time. the realization hit him like a truck. his mate. he found his mate. HIS MATE??!! he didn't know what to do now. maybe its a mistake? no. what i'm feeling right now isn't a mistake. fuck, that's really him. the real deal. what if...what if he doesn't like me? what if he thinks i'm...weak like every other omega? what if he doesn't even like guys? he put up a front that he doesn't care with his sarcasm, but in reality he's just as much of an emotional wreck as others.

throughout all of the commotion going on inside his head, his legs seemed to involuntary move closer to the man sitting in the bed. hoseok began to sit up as he saw the omega walking closer. he didn't even feel the pain shooting up his body. it felt like he wasn't even injured in the first place.

as the omega got closer and closer the people pull between them got stronger, their wolves howled louder, and the want for each other grew heavier. until they were finally meters apart. yoongi could see the other's features more clearly. he was even more beautiful up close.

neither knew what to say. how do you even start a conversation with the one you could possibly spend the rest of your life with? the silence had to come to an end eventually.

"uh..h-hi" hoseok stuttered out. his voice. it's deep but...angelic. how..? it was music to the omegas ears.

"hi." the omega answered. this was so awkward. what was he supposed to say after that? the alpha noticed his uneasiness and decided to speak up.

hoseok didn't expect for the other voice to be that deep but he liked it. "what's your name?" hoseok asked. the omega looked at him and answered, "yoongi."his name sent tingles through hoseok's body.

"yoongi.." he said, "that's beautiful." this caused red tint to color yoongi's cheeks. hoseok chuckled a little seeing that. "what's your name?" the dirty blonde asked, getting closure to the bed. "hoseok." the other answered. yoongi smiled a little but it immediately vanished seeing the black haired males injuries. a small twinge of pain creeped in his heart. he didn't want to see his mate hurt.

"what...happened?" he said looking at the boy's stomach. the other looked down and sheepishly smiled. "uh, i was patrolling and some wolves attacked me." he said. he heard a low growl and looked up. he was surprised when he saw his mates eyes shining that beautiful deep blue. the anger the other was feeling he could feel it also.

"hey, it's ok, I'm fine." hoseok said and grabbed yoongi's wrist. that tingly feeling was back. the spot on that hoseok was touching on yoongi's wrist became hot. the sensation calmed him down. the other began to slowly drag his hand down his wrist. the action sending heat waves throughout the omegas body. the alpha continued until he was hold the others hand.

"you're a feisty one aren't you?" he said with small smirk. the smaller male looked up with wide eyes.
"what?" he asked. "i like that." said hosek. yoongi was no longer yoongi. he was a tomato. the other laughed at his red face. 'cute' he thought.

the other's in the room watched the scene both shocked and with smiles.

taehyung was happy for his brother. really happy. it makes him want to find his mate even more. then again who would want a mate with a kid? a kid that's not theirs? he knew his mate would probably hate him. he was ready for the rejection that he would receive. he had ha-jun so he would be ok, right ?

he was knocked out of his thoughts when his son called for him. "mommy?" ha-jun asked. taehyung looked down to see his son looking back up at him with big brown doe eyes. he couldn't help but coo at the sight. he bent down so he could be on the same level as him.

"yes bub?" taehyung answered moving some grey strands of hair out of the little boys face. "why is uncle yoonie talking to that man?" he asked, tilting his head innocently. the older one smiled and said, "well baby, your uncle just found his mate." the boy looked at his mom with a puzzled look. "mate?" he asked, confused. taehyung could smell his confusion.

"do you wanna know what that is baby" asked and received a quick nod from the boy. he thought for a moment how he was going to explain to his 3 year old son what mates were. "a mate is your special someone. someone you would want to take care of and cherish for the rest of your life. when you first meet them, they smell really good and they'll make you feel a certain way that nobody else can." the little boys eyes sparkled at that. he wanted a mate too!

"w-will i get mate too mommy?" he stuttered out with big eyes.

"of course you will, baby! the moon goddess has a mate for everyone." he said with a big smile. ha-juns eyes seemed to get even brighter upon hearing that.

"does mommy have mate too?" he piped up, jumping lightly on his feet. taehyung smiled. "there's someone out there for me somewhere." he answered, running his hands through his son's hair and looking at him fondly.

"when will mommy meet them?" he asked. the omegas smile dropped slightly. he didn't know how to answer that. "i don't know, baby." he said with a sad smile.

"i hope my mommy can meet them soon." he said with a big smile.

"yeah, me too..."
