Taylor's P.O.V
"Hey McKenna" I say. She turns and looks at me. "Yes?" She says. "Your knee is all fixed up and your out tomorrow!" I say. "Thank you lord! Finally!" She yells. "Come here." She says scooting over so I can lay beside her.
I lay next to McKenna in this hell hole of a hospital. I think about all the shit we have gone through and I think to my self 'What would she need right now? Except for me. Haha, jk' I think back to the Dallas mishap. Oooo. Blake. That douche bag. Then when she was pouring out her life to me.
Then I remembered that she has a father in the military. Wait, that would be too hard. He can't just leave. But it's for McKenna. So I call the forces...
McKenna's P.O.V
-One Day Later-
"Hey McKenna. Got you some clothes" Cam says. "Thanks Cam." I say and I get up.
I change into the Volleyball shirt, sweatpants, and uggs Cam brought me. "Knew you would want that for the day." Cam says and winks at Taylor. Okay.
I put my hair back up in a top-knot and walk out.
Taylor is holding my hand for dear fucking life. But it's okay. I JUST recovered from a major car accident.
As we walk out to the waiting area, I see a man at the door. He is dressed in a military uniform. He looks like my dad.
Then, the man looks up. "Oh my God." I say and break away from Taylor and jump in my dads arms. He takes me in warm arms. Tears are flowing from my eyes. The awful stench of his uniform takes me back to the time I was 15 he came home, then left 4 months later for a 5 year calling over seas.
I let go and he puts me down. "Daddy?" I say. "Kenna-bird" he calls me by my nickname. "Why are you back so early. Don't you have a 5 year calling?" I ask. "My daughter was hurt. Like they would keep me away." He says. "Hello, Captain Sanders." Cam says walking up and giving him a man-hug. "Cam. How Ya doing?" My dad says. "Good sir. And you?" Cam replies. "doing amazing now" my dad says. "Hello, Captain Sanders." Taylor says. "And you must be Taylor. Who called me out?" My dad asks. "Yes sir." Taylor says. "Oh, and here just call me, Greg." My dad whispers to Taylor.
It's good to have all the boys home.

Okay, this is a serious A/N
This chapter is dedicated to all the Military families out there. I, too, am and was a military family. My father Is, Captain Gregory Sanders. He was the captain of tanks. He spent almost 2 years in Irac. But to make the story better I extended some things.😹
Anyway, I was 5 and he died of kidney cancer after he retired from the military 8 months later. My uncle, Ryan, he died in action at Irac. My father was with him, but it was too late.
I also want to dedicate this chapter to my friend Raven. Her brother, Ryan, (I know ironic right?) has been in the force ever since I met her. Raven does actually play, Raven, in the story. Thanks Raven for pushing me. And my friend Esperanza(Espie for short) her brother is in the Air forces. She has a sticker in one of her notebooks I look at every day and know that there is someone she is worried about 24/7. Thanks Espie for your time and craziness. Okay, I'm sounding like Michelle Obama.
Last but not least. This chapter was either to:
•thank you
•make you look forward to see what might happen
•or if your not. Military family. To know what it's like when a family member comes home.
Thank you Military!!❤️
Love ya!😘
