Lisa and Jungkook had been together for a year already

Both dreamed of becoming an idol

"Lalisa Manoban?"

Lisa nervously walked inside the room where the audition was being held. Showcasing her talent, you could tell that she was doing her best

"Okay. Thank you Lisa. We'll call you"

But no call came

She was starting to feel hopeless

But Jungkook never left her side

"You'll get in. Just believe in yourself" Jungkook had already been a trainee for 2 years and was soon to debut with his group

Lisa sighed, "Look Kook, it's hopeless. Let's just give up" she laid on her bed, covering her body with the blanket

While she was feeling hopeless, the others didn't give up and continued to motivate her

Jisoo would go with her in most auditions
Rosé would help her bestfriend in practicing her vocals
The boys would support her, send her motivational quotes from time to time

Lisa was already losing hope on becoming an idol

"Open it for me mom" she closed her eyes and crossed her fingers

Her mom slowly opened the letter, reading it

"Miss Manoban, we greatly inform you that --- YOU PASSED" both of them shouted in joy

She passed

She waited for Jungkook at the park they usually go to

"Hey" she looked at the owner of the voice, it was him "Sorry I'm late"

"That's okay" she smiled and pat the space beside her, "Come"

He sat down

The air was in pure silence, no one spoke. Lisa was afraid of his reaction

"I'm leaving next week"

Jungkook looked at her confused "Huh?"

"I applied in a dance academy and got in" she played with her fingers

"Why didn't you tell me?" He asked coldly

"I'm sorry" tears began to pool under her eyes

"Why didn't you tell me?" he asked for the second time

"I didn't want you to get hurt when I leave" tears began to fall

"And you think I'm not hurt right now?" Jungkook looked at her

"I'm sorry" was the only thing she could answer

"Bullshit" he began to cry

"I'm sorry Kook. Let's break up" she stood up and walked away not letting Jungkook speak

Lisa flew to another country to pursue her own career, leaving the broken hearted Jungkook

She focused on dancing, promising to get better and better

She was finally doing the thing she wants

She realized that she never wanted to be an idol

She was doing it for Jungkook

She wanted to be by his side all the way

But now

Her she was

Doing her own thing

Doing it with passion and love

A year have passed and she saw that Jungkook and the boys made it. They finally had their debut

Rosé had been noticed by the public eye for her talent and was slowly pursuing her own career

And Jisoo finally became an actress like she always wanted

She was proud of them

And jealous

They already have their own path while her she was, still at the bottom

She was on the verge of giving up when she remembered what Jungkook had told her

"You're Lalisa. You can do anything you set your heart into. I know you can"

She worked hard and hard

Finally, her talents were noticed too

She began teaching and at the same time, worked on being a model

She was finally in her own choice of path

She was proud of herself

Yet something was missing

Jungkook...

Another year had passed and she finally decided to return home, to Korea

"We missed you" Jisoo and Rosé hugged her tight

She missed them too

They all went to the restaurant they adored so much for Lisa's welcoming party

She was nervous

What if he's still mad?

They arrived and Lisa was greeted by everyone

She hugged the boys and congratulating them on their success

She finally reached him

He still looked the same, nothing has changed

She was caught off guard when he smiled

"Welcome back" he hugged her

The same warm feeling she had missed

She can't deny it

She was still in love with him

Everybody celebrated

She was happy to be back home. Looking at each person with a smile o  her face. She missed them all

She made her way out for some fresh air

"It' cold out here" she looked back and saw Jungkook walking towards her

"I like the cold" she looked up in the sky where snow was slowly falling

They stood side by side in silence

"Jungkook I'm sorry" she finally spoke

"Hmm?" He glanced at her. She looked him in the eye

"I'm sorry for leaving you"

He diverted his attention back to the falling snow, "It's fine. It was 2 years ago"

She stayed silent, arguing with herself if she should confess that her love for him never left

"I'm actually thankful you did" he continued

She looked at him

"I grew and became a better man" he looked at her, "So thank you" he smiled

Pool of tears started to fill her eyes

"Friends?" he offered his hand

She loves him but she was willing to sacrifice her love for their friendship

She knew he didn't love her anymore

So she took his hand

"Friends"
