Grabbing my tray of lunch, I walk past Arezo and Mia sitting together until I heard something.

"Heyyy!" Mia shouts, motioning her hands for me to come back. What now. Arezo scoots over making space for me, patting for me to sit down. I sit in the middle of the two on a hard bench.

"I can't be here long, I have to help Diane in a few."

"Diane?!" Arezo asks with an open mouth, looking at Mia in shock. "She allows you to call you that? And how do you know her first name? Most teachers would freak out girl." Arezo admits, looking at me crazy.

I shouldn't have sat here with these two.

"Um actually, no she doesn't... and I saw her full name written on my schedule." I lie. "I need to get going." I try to play it off, getting up.

"See you tomorrow I guess." They both say, as I wave bye.

That was hella awkward!! I couldn't stay.

I knock on Diane's classroom door, and I try to open the door but it's locked so I wait. I see her through the small rectangular glass with a smile, unlocking the door. She greets me and welcomes me to her desk. I took note of her locking the door for privacy I assume, we're probably going to be talking about something very important? I'm not sure but I'm happy to see her again.

"Did I ever thank you for earlier? I know you tell me not to but I see a change with them, they are much kinder." I say, taking a sip of water. Diane's finally sits down next to me, with her chin on her hand facing me.

"Let's not talk about those two, they are old news." She dismisses the topic I brought up "Do you have a ride home today? I don't want Mia dropping you off this evening." She questions, playing with my bracelet.

"Why not?" I question, cocking my eyebrow.

"Those are not your friends. They are not a good influence on you." She harshly admits, not sugar coating anything. I pull back my hand from her which grabs her attention quickly.

"What?" She coldly scoffs, blinking slowly.

"Ms. Sherman that was rude and also not true, I just spoke to them." I spoke, furrowing my eyebrows.

"I just don't see a connection like ours that's it honey." She said casually, shrugging like it was nothing. "And I told you that you are allowed to call me Diane."

"I want to make a connection clearly. They freaked out when I called you Diane by the way, I don't feel comfortable with it anymore." I said, gazing down at my food. She's offending me.

"Don't say I didn't warn you about those girls Y/n." She cautioned, pointing her finger in my face.

"Yeah okay..." I replied, wanting her finger to be out of my face. We sit and eat in silence before I throw away a wrapper near the door.

"Where are you going?" Diane raises her voice, as if I was leaving her or something. She's acting very strange, her moods change really really really fast.

"I was just throwing away a wrapper, geez." I say, a little creeped out. "Maybe I should go." I added, not wanting to be in her presence. I have other classes to go to anyway.

"The bell hasn't rung." She quickly said, walking towards me.

"Why are you looking at me like?" She questions, putting her hands on her hips. "Is there food on my face?" She chuckles, but soon frowns when she realized I wasn't laughing back. She places her cold hand on my neck, gripping behind my ear a little rough.

"Look." I say "You're very kind in all but this is too much for me right now." I added, grabbing her wrist. She stares at my hand that touched her wrist and quickly removes her hand. "I will see you soon, bye." I say before she could protest, trying to open the door handle but it's locked.

"Open this." I command, pointing to the lock not looking at her face. She searches for her keys, unlocking it slowly. When I tried opening the door she stopped the door. I look up at her confused.

"Call me so that I know you made it home safely honey." Diane says, pulling the door open for me. I didn't respond, I just quickly made my way down the stairs. Wanting out.

I had a few classes with Mia and Arezo, and they agreed to dropping me home thankfully. I made sure to show gratitude to them. As I get into the back seat, I look out the window seeing Ms. Sherman get into her car.

"What's Ms. Sherman's weird ass doing behind us?" Arezo asked laughing, as we all looked behind us. She was just sitting in her car, not driving it or nothing.

"Who knows who cares." I let out a small chuckle, wanting the topic to be changed once again. "Mr. Chapman is failing me." I brought up, sighing.

"He is such a bitch 24/7! I thought Ms. Sherman was worse broo but she's not. She's not fat and lazy, constantly complaining and making the students do most of the dumb job like Chapman is." She complains, as me and Mia laugh at her.

"Please shut up about school oh my godd." Mia jokingly sighs.

"Let's go bitches!" Mia yells, putting the car is drive. She drives alright, she just speeds too much and occasionally hits the brakes hard as HELL. I won't criticize her for it out loud though. I instruct her where to go and surprisingly she lives like 5 minutes away from me.

"Thank you for the ride bitches." I say, stepping out into my lawn, closing the door. Mia rolls down her window before I walk off.

"Wait give me ya number, I might have plans next week that you'd be interested in. I'm not giving you a choice really too, you need more friend." She says, as we exchange numbers.

"Bye now!!" I say loudly, running inside. As I closed the door I heard Mia speed off like a hellcat. I look outside the window seeing tire marks on the concrete, I can smell the burnt rubber from inside too. Poor tires I thought to myself. My phone starts to light up and buzz from a notification message, is that Mia all damn ready or something??

4 missed calls from Diane💞

Diane💞: Y/n are you okay?
Diane💞: Did they do anything to you? Please respond.

What the actual hell? Why would they want to hurt me? It was never that serious my god, my moms never even this concerned like Diane is. Speaking of my mom where the hell is she?

Y/n : I'm home and I'm completely fine. I'm going to go to sleep bye.

It's way too early to sleep right now, I'm such a liar but she's being weird right now.
