My math exam is due today but thank god Jessica helped me a few days ago. Let's hope my memory and brain can keep up at the same time, I doubt it though. I'm still recovering from my hangover from Saturday with Mia. Speaking of Mia, I haven't seen her yet and I'm hoping it will stay that way. I'm not mad nor upset anymore it's just I don't have time to discuss the Saturdays activities that took place, especially at school. When Jessica and I were walking to Chapman's class, I saw Ms. Sherman leaning on Mr. Chapman's door blocking the entrance.
Why would Ms. Sherman be talking to Chapman and how do they even get along? They are completely different from each other.
"Sorry Ms. Sherman but can we get through here for a second?" Jessica asks politely.
"Oh! Sure honey, didn't see you there." Ms. Sherman apologizes, making space for Jessica. Did she forget I was there?
"Excuse me." I said, getting no reaction from Ms. Sherman whatsoever. I tapped her shoulder getting her attention and she finally turned around which felt like ages.
"Another surprise, once again I didn't see you there! Sorry honey." Diane apologized, with wide eyes scooting over letting me in the classroom. I sat in the front with Jessica behind me. "I need to borrow Y/n really quickly, if that's okay with you Mr. Chapman?" She asked, walking to my desk.
"Sure, take as long as you need." Chapman insisted, putting on such a nice front to Ms. Sherman. He's never nice like that, seems as if he has a sweet spot for her and not his actual student. I had no choice but to go and see what this women wanted from me. We walked to her empty classroom and sat at her desk.
"How'd your weekend go?" She questioned trying to make conversation I guess, shuffling around papers until she found one which from afar look like it had my name across it.
"It was interesting." I dryly replied "So you made me miss half of my class just to ask me how my weekend was Ms. Sherman?" I questioned, shifting around in my seat already getting annoyed. She immediately paused from reading the paper after my sentence.
"Oh, is that what you think here?" Diane scoffs, with a look of surprise on her face. "I'm actually doing you a favor honey, Your grades have been low in my class. I have no option other than to tutor you after class. I've already spoke with your parents and they agreed it would be the best decision for you!" She smiled, showing me the paper. My dad really agreed on this when he knew I wanted to see him more?
"When does this whole tutoring thing start and who else is joining? I can't be the only one failing this class..." I question, reading the paper seeing that I'm the only one on this list for today.
"Today, when all your classes end."
"But my dad is coming back in town today! This is going to take so many frustrating hours, plus I'm pretty sure I'm already failing Chapman's dumb class." I express with pure frustration, resting my face in my both of my sweaty palms. I had so much bottled up inside feeling like I was going to explode but I kept it in. I felt her rubbing small circles on my back kneeling down to my face.
"Sweet girl what's wrong?" She questions, with such a concerned voice. Exactly what I need right now, just someone to listen to my words. I didn't reply still covering my face completely until she took one of my hands off. "You can talk to me because I'll always be here for you no matter what." She said, caressing a loose strand of my hair.
