Recap:

"I'm back everyone!"

"Welcome back, Celestine!"

Celestine's POV

Everyone in the guild greets me as I skilfully make my way through the mass of fighting in the middle of the first floor. I politely greet them back making my way over to the bar and climbing up onto a stool to sit next to one of the older guildmembers, Cana Alberona. Cana, a card mage, is like an older sister to me, has been since I came to guild five years ago. "Hey baby girl, h-h-how was t-the mission?" Cana slurred her question to me, seeing as she is on what looks to be her fourth barrel of booze for the day and it's only 11am. "It was good, no problems and I got a few celestial keys as well with the reward money." I reply to Cana in my usual quiet and eloquent speech. I spot the guild's resident she-demon Mirajane wiping down the bar and call out to her. "Good Morning Mira, could I please get a cup of lavender tea, one teaspoon of honey please? And could you send it up to the second floor as well, I would really appreciate it." Mirajane simply smiles and replies sweetly, "Of course Celestine, head on up, I'll bring you tea to you."

Making my way up to the second floor, my heightened senses kick in a little I'm able to hear Laxus and the Thunder God Tribe. Upon hearing them, I speed up just a little bit and walk over to them as I make it to the landing. Seeing Laxus laid back on his chair with his eyes closed listening to music and arms crossed over his chest, I walk over and climb into his lap snuggling into the warmth that is a combination of him and the fur coat he always has draped over his shoulders. He readjusts his arms to circle around my waist and keep me from falling off, but otherwise doesn't move a muscle. Bickslow, Evergreen and Freed pause their conversation about which job to take next to look over at us. At seeing us looking relaxed, they carry on their conversation knowing that at any moment I am going to fall asleep and take a nap. Just as I'm drifting off, Mirajane comes upstairs with my tea, gently places it done and quietly walks back downstairs as not to wake me. Knowing my tea is there, I place a warming spell on it so when I wake, it will still be at the temperature that I like.

3rd POV

Back at Avengers Tower, the team had converged into the conference room and spread themselves around the table waiting for Bucky to speak. Staring out the window in thought, Bucky began to speak, "I met her 3 years ago, she was just six years old. A tiny little thing, but fierce, extremely fierce for someone her age. She had been following me from a distance, at first I did not notice her, it was like she was a shadow. When I finally caught on to her, I tried to keep track of her while following my target, but, at one point she got in front of me, and I spotted her watching me from behind an alley wall. She didn't look afraid of me, I knew somehow that she knew I was dangerous, but she just looked at me with curiosity." The more Bucky is talking, the more the team is getting interested about the mystery child, so much so, that they don't realise Director Fury along with Agents Hill and Coulson have walked in taking a seat as they listen as well. "I just stopped walking and looked at her, I was confused on why anyone, especially a child would take notice of me. She walked over and stood in front of me and just... stared up at me for a solid minute before doing something that shocked and confused me even more." Everyone in the room watches as a small smile spreads across Bucky's face as he remembers her, the smile she gave him as if to say she was not afraid of the person he was. "She gave me the biggest smile she could and looked at me with the brightest emerald-green eyes I'd ever seen. She grabbed my metal hand as if it were normal and started pulling me along with her, we ended up in a little park sitting under a big tree. I remember how she sat on my left and snuggled into my side with my left arm wrapped around her. For once, I was at peace, as though she took all my negative emotions away when she was there. We sat there for hours in silence just listening to the nature around us and the other kids playing together. She seemed almost content, if I had to pick a word, just sitting there with me." Everyone in the room was interested in listening to Bucky before, but now are really interested to learn about this mystery child.

During Bucky's small reminisce, Loki retreated into his mind thinking about the way the soldier described the little girl, that something about her was familiar to him. That the familiarity he was feeling was in fact connected to him but was not completely sure of himself just yet. Instead of dwelling on those feelings, he tuned back into his surroundings and continued to listen.

Bucky finally looked up to everyone in the room noticing the three extra people but not mentioning them began to speak again. "She found me walking around the town for the whole two weeks I was there and would sometimes follow me around from a distance, walk next to me or drag me back to the park to sit together. It wasn't until the end of the first week did she actually talk to me. She told just about everything she could about herself, that she is a mage, a powerful one at that when she demonstrated some for me. That she was in the town to do some last-minute job before going to compete in some exam to gain a higher rank or something." The second Bucky mentioned that the mystery girl was a mage, everyone in the room sat straighter, particularly, Loki, Thor and Fury. "On the last day I saw her, she finally told me her name..." Bucky paused at this moment to remember the young child who he had grown fond of in such a short time. "Her name is Chrysanthemum. For such a young girl, she was breath-taking, if I had to describe her, I'd say she looked ethereal, as though she was born from ice and snow. And if I had to compare her to anyone, I'd say she was a young female Loki, although she has snow-white hair."

At his last sentence, Loki was in shock, his mind in turmoil at the thought that this young girl could potentially be his and his lover's daughter. The fact the soldier had met her in the past and he had no idea about her until now. Thor watched his brother trying to figure out how the little girl could be described as his female look-a-like, but only coming up with one answer; Loki has a child that was born nine years ago. "Brother is it possible that this young child is yours?" At this spoken question, all eyes look to Loki as his snap to his brother. "It is quite possible brother that she is mine, last I was on Midgard before your banishment was nine years ago. I had a lover that I was with for more a year at the time, it is possible that he was with child and could not tell me before I was ordered back to Asgard by the AllFather."

This revelation caused many different responses from everyone in the room. Steve was sharing looks with Bucky at the thought that his friend had met the possible daughter of the God of Mischief, Tony was wondering who in their right mind could have a child with Loki, Natasha and Clint were both communicating with their eyes wondering if the child is just like Loki or not, and Thor is wondering what could have happened in all these years to his possible niece for her to meet Bucky while he was still The soldier. Fury had a sense of revelation though he hid it from appearing on his face as he and the two agents that had accompanied him realised just who Bucky had been talking about. Loki on the other hand was in deep thought wondering what had happened to his lover James if this girl is in fact their daughter and why she was alone at everyone encounter she had with the Man of Winter.

Director Fury finally made his presence known by asking Bucky a single question. "This girl... Did she tell you her full name or just 'Chrysanthemum'?" Everyone looked to Bucky to hear his answer, but he just looked at Fury and nodded. Fury sighs and throws down a file onto the middle of the table. "I know exactly who you are talking about, I was coming to brief you all on your next mission to meet a group of mages as they need some help taking out a potential threat. This young child Chrysanthemum Celestine Crystalis is one of those in the group that will be present."
